Beware... Astro will call and send reminder a week before installation. On the day of installation, they MIA. This is what happened to me yesterday. Received phone call for 20/08 @ 2PM last week. And few days later, received SMS stating the same. Yesterday, waited at home since 2PM and no one showed up.

After calling the hotline, the CS claimed schedule was set on 19/08 @ 10AM - WTF!?!? Maximum lying!

hi there i have installed the Astro IPTV - Maxis. I have an issue: If i off my modem i cant watch astro using my satelite disc? Is it normal? It seems like 100% using broadband, what is the use of the disc then? Or is there anyway that i can revert to the disc if im not using broadband?

Wanna ask a question. I previously signed up maxis home fibre and requested for astro IPTV as well.

Maxis home fibre came and has completed the necessary set up. Subsequently astro came and wanted to install a dish at my house claiming that IPTV is not available in my area. I actually thought that so long we have an internet facilities, IPTV will work? pls correct me if i am wrong. Thanks...

hi there, i am in Brunei and since Brunei is repeatedly mentioned, i hope someone can help me out here.
We have an old decorder and also Malaysian subscription as Malaysian astro offers more channels than Brunei kristal astro.

Now, we want to have that Extra decorder for Rm50 in another room.

Should i:
1. subscribe to Brunei astro so that Byond decorder is installed then get the card from Malaysia astro to hv the super pack? will the malaysian astro card read in brunei byond set? even if after that, hpw do i add the 2nd decorder?
2. get the 2 decorders with cards installed in a malaysian address and dismantle the whole thing and get someone to come install in my brunei house.. of course, this would mean dangerous smuggling.. but may well worth the effort..

Anyone who knows, kindly advise.
