Whether it is exposed gutter or conceal gutter, you will still be able to collect the rain water for recycling. It just how you divert the downpipes. smile.gif

The biggest advantage of conceal gutter is the tendency of chock is lesser as compare to expose type.

Am surprise with that statement; as from what I know, gutters get clog due to lack of maintenance. The leaves getting into the gutter and ends up clogging the outlet. Some of the leaves could also enter into the downpipes. If there are bends in the downpipes, rainwater gets blocked thus causing overflowing of rainwater from the gutter.
One way that has been used frequently to prevent leaves from getting into the gutter is gutter guard. The wire mesh prevents the leaves from falling into the gutter.

Even with this, regular maintenance is still required to remove those dead leave that are not blown away.
