I have a 1TB (not fully utilised. probably around +600GB used) WD Element external HDD that cannot be detected by MY COMPUTER.

It does have a detect sound when I plug it into my laptop. However MY COMPUTER doesn't detect it. Normally it will auto run. But not now. Lights blink for a while and just stayed ON and nothing happens. Mild vibrations are felt when I touched the HDD.

When unplug using SAFELY REMOVE HARDWARE, you can see the WD ELEMENTS.

Can it be repaired?
