I wrote to them last week..but no reply till now..

If it is true that they are no longer using EMS, we can still order from GSC but do not order so many to avoid tax

I got tracking number but its not EMS..and its already 2 weeks since its shipped out from HongKong

Btw, my GSC account status is still "Preparing Shipment"..but tracking number said the items was despatched out from HK on 11 July..

I e-mailed GSC regarding the EMS shipment on 14 July..today they replied:

I replied the shipping notice email..so its directly to their email address

I've bought things from the US and Japan packed with boxes just like PA's..and surprisingly I receiving with very little damage. Alot of people from other forums are suspecting that its the HK Post which actually handles the packages roughly..and plus with Malaysia custom..then gone~

I suggested them years ago..and not once..not twice..and everytime they replied something like "Thank you for your suggestion. We will forward this to the shipping department."

There's actually a possible solution to this. I've done it before and it worked. What I did was:

1. Do not pay for your items yet. Wait till your order is ready to be shipped, then send a message to PA reminding them to pack your items with more bubblewraps/Styrofoam and covers all sides of the items. Then tell them that you'll confirm your payment after they have confirmed that they agree with the packaging.
2. After receiving their reply, then you proceed with your payment.

I did that and I've got CD's wrapped with 3 layers of bubblewraps and toys wrapped with 2 layers of bubblewraps and surrounded with Styrofoams.

I actually posted this before in LYN but not in this thread..so feel free to try out this method

Btw, it was PA who recommended me to do this, because they said that its better if I could send the packaging reminder before they ship my order. But the problem is, they always ship your order too fast. So the only way is to put your payment on hold till they reply you

I also reported any damages to them and send them pictures..then they will just apologize and offer me a USD5 coupon.

Maybe I complained so many times till they remember me

They took 12 days to reply to my email..

For PosLaju, I realized that there's a 2nd time delivery option. Just call the PosLaju center preferably early in the morning around 8am - 8-20am and request for 2nd delivery

Added on August 2, 2011, 8:11 amIf you got the tracking number, just go to the PosLaju center and collect it. Or request for 2nd time delivery

The postmen will always ask you to collect from the PosLaju center if you're not at home during delivery time, but you can always ask for 2nd time delivery.
