I see. I thought tat its warranty covers the lightning surge damages. Looks like my Belkin lightning surge protector is a real worthwhile investment.

Huawei E1762, you will need to update the firmware most likely if you bought it last year.

Read this to understand more: http://suibian-anything.blogspot.com/2009/...ess-n-plus.html

However for ZTE MF190, I'm not so sure. smile.gif

When you are using MiFi, either you let it charged using USB power or get a plug that works with USB cable. smile.gif

Else, be prepared for endless battery draining incident. tongue.gif

p/s: If your modem is compatible for recharge using USB, else you have no choice. smile.gif

i hav 2 MiFi actually, the older E-5830 cannot use WiFi while charging, meaning ONLY charging or WiFi-ing at any one time, whereas the newer one E-5830S can charge while being WiFi-ed out....BUT I wont use it tat way as it will "kill" the MiFi + battery faster. just imagine if you use your lappie with the battery + charging at the same time, wat will happen to your lappie's MoBo and Battery Life and Adaptor life ? icon_idea.gif icon_idea.gif biggrin.gif

and btw, dun use the USB Adaptor shown cause they may not be rated for your device wattage, i always my Ipad USB Adaptor to charge my USB devices thumbup.gif the battery last longer cause u knoe Apple stuff la brows.gif
