Viber texts are "stored" (encrypted of course) in our servers for up to 2 weeks only if they are pending delivery to the destination user. Once the recipient got the message, it's immediately deleted from our servers.
If the destination user is online and received the message, it's never stored in our servers even for a second.

Could Viber send a wrong location, when someone clicks on the 'location' button (triangulair image) in the 'text input window'? My girlfriend activated this 'location' thing (accidentally, I guess) and when I checked afterwards, it showed her 'normal' location (her work place), but she claimed she was somewhere else at that time (8 hours drive away from there, in a very small village, where there was maybe no good way for Viber to find the exact location, so it might have sent the last one known - in cache, or so).If the destination user is online and received the message, it's never stored in our servers even for a second.
