For one of my Android devices, which I will only use for surfing internet and internet based calls, not GSM voice call, I am using Celcom Broadband on it. My Celcom broadband has a +601xxxxxxxx number and can be used for sending and receiving SMS, but not GSM voice call.

Before, that device can receive Viber activation code through SMS and activate Viber. After I perform factory reset and reinstall Viber, while that device can receive SMS from other people, but Viber activation code not received. I tried to perform activation yesterday, but until now the activation code still not received. Why?

Please try removing Viber, wait 24 hours, reinstall and try again (make sure you try both the SMS and the automated call options). If this doesn't help, contact our support team at http://support.viber.com and give them the details of the problem.

@sacremento -
The crash problem is known to us, and we're trying to fix it these days.
We hope to release a fix update soon, and we apologize for the temporary inconvenience.

The multiple contact entries problem usually occurs as a result of importing or syncing your contact list with an external source (Google Accounts, Exchange, etc.). On iOS5, this could also happens due to disrupted synchronization with iCould.

Please try resyncing your contacts or installing Viber anew. If this doesn't help, the you may want to contact our support team at http://support.viber.com to get more help and info.

@mynewuser -
This is a feature we're considering to add in future versions.
Meanwhile, we invite you to enter our Feature Request page and post your suggestion there, or join an existing similar suggestion. The more people join on a request, the faster it will become reality smile.gif

You can find it here: http://helpme.viber.com/index.php/Knowledg...r-a-new-feature

I have the latest Viber (2.2.2) on my Garmin Asus A10, Android 2.1. When I make a call to someone, the call will get disconnected immediately when it was answered, and on my phone Viber will stuck at the 'Call Ended' page and I can't make any further calls, until I restarted the phone.

Is this a common problem?

Please note that Viber does not officially support your device yet, and that may be the reason for the problems you are experiencing. Here is the full list of officially supported devices: http://bit.ly/Hm5k9p
We are continuously working to adapt Viber to more and more devices, and we hope to attend to the problems with your device soon. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Meanwhile, we recommend you to test Viber when both sides are connected to a few different WiFi networks, in order to determine that the source of the problem really is the device itself.

Viber utilizes your phone's main settings for volume and vibration, so if you want Viber to be Silent, you should set your phone itself to Silent. In the future we plan to add volume+vibration settings that are specific to Viber.

We haven't thoroughly tested Viber on this specific device yet. You can check out our list of officially supported devices at: http://bit.ly/rqbZEw

In our HelpDesk, you can also find a direct link to the .APK file of the app: http://bit.ly/rqbZEw

However, in the meantime you can still download Viber from Market, try it out and we would be happy to receive your feedback on how it works on your device so we could improve Viber accordingly.

We are continuously working to adapt Viber to more and more devices.

@ryuzaki_L -
You are right - technologically, it is not an impossible task to implement the options you mentioned into our app. However, please bear in mind that you are not the only user who requests features from us among our millions of users worldwide
Aside from that, we also have other projects running in our company, like Viber on whole new platforms, for example.

All of the above doesn't mean we neglect our users' requests. Adding the features you mentioned is certainly on our list of development, but we still haven't had the time to fully develop them and/or test them thoroughly before releasing.

We apologize for the temporary inconvenience, and we hope to complete these features and implement them soon. We'll certainly keep you posted with news smile.gif
