hey viber, i tried calling with it.. and it seems theres no ringing tone anymore..but its connected on the other hand...im using galaxy s..but when i tried calling from my gf wildfire theres ringtone...does this happen only on galaxy s?

I'm not sure I fully understood your problem... can you try to explain again?

i was calling my gf using viber, but it seems like theres no ringing tones...like an actual dial ringing tone when its actually connected..i thought it was not responding..

he means there's no TOOT TOOT anymore when the other has not pick up the phone... haha

its the other way around bro..theres no TOOT TOOT but the phone that i called ringing..and when she picked it up..it works..
its just theres no TOOT TOOT at all...and i thought it wasnt responding LOL. i think only on my galaxy s cuz when i check with
wildfires..theres ringtone i dont get it,.

Are you using a custom ROM? maybe MIUI, by any chance?

not at all man. its official gingerbread 2.3.3 the thing is when i first installed it...
the ringtones working..now its just died...but its definately connected...and working..just didnt know
if its responding or not haha

it was dead. so i assume it only started by today .

We'll investigate this no TOO-TOO bug. Can you think of a trigger that started all this? Maybe a different app that you downloaded and installed?

Would you be kind enough to test Viber on a clean phone (i.e reformat your phone and try it out)?

We're trying to get to the bottom of this.

EDIT: you know what, I have a better idea: would you be willing to help us run some tests with your help and possibly send us logs so we can find the source of this problem once and for all?

hey viber, umm i have no idea how to get the logs man haha. any other phone geek using galaxy s with viber? just tried calling my gf..it works great just still no TOOT TOOT ringing tones. was using Wifi and shes using wildfire 3g..works pretty good actually ...better than last time.

i just installed cracked Samurai II apk from google ...could it be by that? haha ill try to uninstall that and ring again later.

hey viber. this is odd.. Too Too dial tones working again. lol. with speaker or without....i think its a bug ..not sure only for galaxy s or all droid in general

the call quality leaves much to be desired

Viber should support MIUI. Are you experiencing problems?

Still having the same problem with the standard froyo launcher. I have seen ditched it for launch pro. Am I the only one having that problem. If yes then it must be some other programs that I installed that causing this.

However there is no issue when I select Viber from the ""Complete action using" pop-up screen for voice call.
