yup. much easier than japanese characters. they only have hangul and their "kanji" is very rarely used. 99% of the time its hangul. if u learn hangul u can easily read what is written but to understand u need to learn vocabulary and grammar as well. thats the hard part.

hangul is easy. just memorize. no need to go to class. u only need to know the format of writing. google provides that.

the grammar and vocab i think u need to work harder or go into korean language classes. cos its really hard. they have this different forms of formality. i nvr learn that far. no chance to go to korean classes. i wanted to tho. T__T

korean culture really2 emphasize on social status and hierachy. Younger generation MUST respect the elder ones. thats why we always here yoona seohyun always addressing other members as unnies (big sister). Hyung, Oppa, noona, sunbae, ahjumma, ahjussi these kind of phrase u will often hear if u watch enuf dramas because their language revolves around different level of formality.

dunno if i explain it right. if someone have better knowledge abt this can explain a lil bit better.
