The default warranty is 2 years actually. But there's some dealer would provide free upgrade to 3 years. Hint: Malaysia IT Fair. lol.

Dear Guys,
Here's the info of our GE620DX-FHD - http://my.msi.com/product/nb/GE620DX-FHD.html It's now available in Malaysia but through limited dealers/resellers. In KL, you can find it in PC3 and Brightstar, Lowyat Plaza. In Penang, Gadget Zone is going to bring in soon. The SPR is RM 3299. Cheers. This post has been edited by Sanko: Oct 14 2011, 11:12 AM |

fit, you can still find the old version, depending on the stock. It really depends on the dealers whether to order or not. If not we will stock bringing in.

rd33, I believe you purchased the laptop during Malaysia IT Fair. Actually the extended/on site warranty is given out solely by the reseller if i'm not mistaken. They cover all the extra charges. This is one of the way they try to beat off other competitors (dealers/resellers) by offering more service. I'll make sure tomorrow ask the reseller person incharge to give you a call. So the onsite-warranty can be arranged according to what being advertised during Malaysia IT Fair. And we truly thank you for bringing this matter up. We will review this matter accordingly. We will warned all the dealers not to misguide customers in their special/added offers which actually does not involve MSI Malaysia, especially matters in regards of RMA. But rest be assured that we are always there to support our customer and i'm 100% sure you will get the on-site warranty.
PS: Could you PM me your contact number so that i can ask the person incharge to give you a call for the said arrangement? This post has been edited by Sanko: Oct 19 2011, 10:39 PM |

Dear Batusai and Swordsmen,
I'm sorry that upgrading is really out of our hand. It lies on the hand of the dealer/reseller you purchased from. We hope you understand. |

Swordsmen,
It's up do the dealers you purchased from whether they accept upgrading or not. However, i'll try to bring this issue to the management and let's see if can do anything to Lowyat.NET community. No promises but i'll try. This post has been edited by Sanko: Oct 22 2011, 02:03 PM |

frella, it comes with 2 years warranty. 99% of our notebook comes with 2 years warranty. only netbook is 1 year. As for ASP, you can refer to the link below.
http://my.msi.com/service/msinewmap/ imin, it's best we leave your question for the others to answer. you can refer the link below for the spec details. http://my.msi.com/product/nb/GE620DX-FHD.h...v=Specification This post has been edited by Sanko: Oct 26 2011, 10:18 AM |

For what i heard, should be until February. After that end-user can still opt for upgrade but the price will be different as currency and cost may fluctuate.

The only thing i can help is passing your request to the reseller. And most likely it will be brightstar if you are located in KL.
