^ nah-uh it won't happen.. i5 is still a good CPU to pair with GT555M.

+1, even i3 is enough laugh.gif
i5 is sort of an all rounder that's good to have~
Gaming relies more on GPU anyway thumbup.gif

its not intel's fault for making such powerful processors, but nvidia and AMD's fault for not not really focussing on mobile graphics. The GT555m is essentially a GT420m overclocked, together with GDDR5 memory(which is not gonna help since its only 96SP)

GT555M is good. All i'm saying having i7+GT555M won't bring a significant frame increase while gaming compare to i5 + GT555M.

"Quad-core CPUs or dual-core processors with high clock rates will only start to make a difference when combined with real gaming notebooks or high-end laptops equipped with graphics cards on par with or better than the GeForce GTX 460M or Radeon HD 5870" .

i7 2630qm+GT555m

I know i mentioned GTX560m and not GT555m but seriously,Im very sure the difference between i3 and i7 coupled with GTX560m is not gonna have a huge difference in performance, maybe 5 frames at best?
