hi guys, im in the look-out for a laptop in anticipation for diablo 3
anyone tried play D3 in fullhd with GT635m? if yes, may i know the playable settings?

Thats a damn good deal with SSD.. i5 would be sufficient for normal use IMO, unless you're doing some heaving tasking that really need the extra cores.

any idea the gt635m is 144cores or 96cores?128 or 192 bits? DdR3 or 5? thanks!

great.. now my lappies are main use for after effects production house videos especially for movie effects.

3 days already byk kali 1080P rendering. this 8 cores sure are usefull to me

144sp, 128bit and DDR3.

yup it's not, but the difference is negligible imo.

any users of this model install hdd by replacing the odd? any luck?

had used it for sometime, what i can say is, this laptop have the best spec for this pricing.

but, i think there are some "issue" which i can share :

i used it on running 3ds max, playing dota etc,
but it seem to unable to handle 3ds max where i couldn't use nitrous,
playing dota screen will occasionally lag.

heat:(non air-con room temp)
when i start render thing, it will sound like lorry running,
it's quite hot,
so i bought the cooler master U3,
still hot.

design:
hum, we must open an application(s-bar) in order to open the DVD drive @@"
no button for us to open manually.
it's not a big deal, just "weird"...

^ That mean the cooling is doing its job. If an i7 laptop blowing out cool air under stress, that mean there is something wrong with it.

Can you be more specific?

What model have you been used? since there are many variants of this GE620DX product.. some made in US, Taiwan, Malaysia etc.
I know that they have the same motherboard, appearance etc... but differ in terms of specs.

Also be specific on temp since we have acceptable temp for laptops that operates on normal condition or in gaming mode. I know that there's a temp monitoring on it that will auto shut off or auto restart when exceed on its temp set point level.

I don't prefer some of cooler thing that can buy on store since as you observe it really don't blow air that much (thinking that you really need to cool it fast and efficiently), just it helps a little.

For 3D rendering, maybe you should try some software to test it, then take a snapshot and post here.

I'm planning to buy this stuff so your input would help a lot.

Guys, Im going to buy this laptop soon. Anyone with DX version pls give some pros and cons coz Im comparing it with Lenovo Y480/Y570 and Toshiba Qosmio F750. Specs and price wise MSI GE620 is better.

PLS SHARE....urgent
