QUOTE(Batusai @ Feb 18 2012, 06:42 PM) nope. MSI-MY has already clarified with us that the warranty wont be voided if the sticker is torn. The backpanel gives access to everything. really? that's great ealier i was wondering how can i clean the dust on my own and maintain the warranty This post has been edited by imhong: Feb 18 2012, 06:57 PM |

Yup. Just make sure you dont tamper the stickers under the panel. those will cost your warranty I suppose.

Dear All
For your information, the "Warranty Void" sticker has it purpose. Initially, once the sticker is torn, the warranty will void. But, to ease our customer, that would like to change/add HDD or RAM, we will still accept unit that 1- Harddisk changed 2- RAM Changed/Added If the sticker is torn but no HDD and RAM upgrade found, the unit will not be covered by warranty. It is best for you to ask your dealer (that you bought your laptop from) and upgrade it for you. Hope this is clear. Regards |

QUOTE(noobfc @ Feb 21 2012, 01:27 PM) Dear noobfcPlease take note that our service center wont accept if there is no problem with your unit. However, if the dust piled up, i believe the unit will be "hot" and "overheat" So, if your unit encounter issue above, you can send to our service center for servicing I believe most model from other brand also practice the same, that end user dont have access to clean the heatsink. Regards |

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Hi MSI-MY regarding access to clean the heatsink. Let say I want to change the original Factory Thermal Paste. To a better paste. I "MUST" Bring my laptop to your service center/Distributor and ask Person in-charge to apply the thermal paste for me? |

Ahh. Its not my first time using FullHD screen. Well. Its just plain awesome to me.
Its definitely note sharp. Icons and everything will looks small which some people do not like it. FullHD movies would look great on it. Normal HD movies or those dvd ripped RMVB will look kinda awful, you'll notice the pixels. gaming would be tough on native. Normally I use 1600x900 or 1440x900 which is very good already. COD can go on native, Battlefield 3 only manage 1440x900. Do update the latest Graphics driver. Has alot improvements to it. Do check which LCD you got when it comes back. At first I got AUO which had dead/stuck pixels and got it change into LG Philips now. But are equal quality but just from diff manufacturer. |
