Hear the artillery coming,
Smash the teddy crate, Grab as many teddies as you can, Hug them close, Scream, "MOMMY!" And then BOOM! You'll fly high. Fly high High up the sky It's just my Teddy and I Goodbye This post has been edited by Fodder Soldier: Dec 14 2005, 07:24 PM |

Indeed no one can doubt the usefulness of the Teddy in the battlefield. Acting as a viable body anchor, it keeps you on the ground during the exploding rain so that your teammates will have the chance to give you a proper memorial (and maybe exchange their kit with your unresisting self).
If you DON'T have Teddy.... Attached thumbnail(s) |

If it's about your ping value is over 200, then I might understand if you're worried. Heck, I felt the same way when mine got to 250 and won myself the 'possibility of being kicked out of the server' gold ticket.
Of course, I might be mistaken about what you're pointing out about that pic, Aoshi_88. This post has been edited by Fodder Soldier: Dec 15 2005, 10:43 AM |

I wonder if the server set the tickets at 2500 each, then that 1632-0 figure would be possible to achieve.
Heck, wonder how long would a round last if the number of tickets for each side is set to, let's say, 15000? |

w00t!! Year 2006 is upon us! Because LYN is being taken offline tonight, this will be my last post for this year, Year 2005. So I am taking this chance to post my last remaining fun screenshots (because of my one-month hiatus away from the battlefield, got no new pics, because I've been concentrating month December totally for download activity as seen from this pic of my last battle stats)
and to shout out to all of ye faithful groundpounders: Here's to hoping that Year 2006 will bring: Long Live BF2 Madness! |

Yeaa.. 2006! The Fodder Soldier is back from celebrating New Year on the Battlefield.
It was fun hearing the fireworks outside my room window and the 'fireworks' I see in my computer screen 'window' at the same time. But dang, that one-month AWOL really rusted up my soldiering proficiency. Ah well, time for this fanboy to get greased up all over again. QUOTE(zx7177 @ Dec 30 2005, 09:18 PM) Noh, 'twasn't. It's a mod map called Furious-and-Mental if I recalled correctly. Name's so right though, see how many capture points that was on the map? Friggin s-.And here's New Pics!
Targeting the high-jump Olympic Gold!
The lunacy of kamikaze.
All I wanted was a hug, and all I got was death. Oh, such cruel world...
Riding with Gestapo in it, dying with Gestapo in it.(Is this THE Gestapo, or someone else that's named similar?) |

What IS wrong with that map?? I can see a freaking big bridge connecting the two ends of Wake Island from the minimap on the top right corner of screen. And the number of tickets for each side? A modded map? And Konig was there? Man, he must be really having fun. As did everybody else in that __________ map. And I just got a-Wake from sleep, me brain not fully optimized yet Oh, BTW, I'm not sure if shock-paddling this dude back to life will help 'im. Ugh...... [Too much happy energy right now... P.S. :- Multiple gratitudes to mobiusone for allowing this humble Fodder Soldier to experience the wonders of a reality-incorrect game map. May you be blessed with infinite divine-grade supply crates. |

Yeah, I get scenes like that too. But what to do, some guys just feel more secure travelling in a bunch together.
Like this bunch. These guys are waiting around for their much-loved vehicle WHEN ALL CAN SEE THERE'S AN ENEMY SWIMMING AROUND THE CARRIER. That opposition guy can just waltz up the ship and possibly take out my side's command trailer and etc because NO ONE GAVE A DAMN. Of course, THIS would be the other end of the spectrum, right? Deck full of 'copters and no one to pilot them. Idle resources. But like I said earlier, can't blame these people. Sometimes they perform better doing specific tasks only.
