just fly in there, and eject just before the plane reaches.
but this one...  i know can take off if i land from the other direction, cos from that direction got small hill. all the afterburner in the world cant help the plane clear it. |

Indeed no one can doubt the usefulness of the Teddy in the battlefield. Acting as a viable body anchor, it keeps you on the ground during the exploding rain so that your teammates will have the chance to give you a proper memorial (and maybe exchange their kit with your unresisting self).

If it's about your ping value is over 200, then I might understand if you're worried. Heck, I felt the same way when mine got to 250 and won myself the 'possibility of being kicked out of the server' gold ticket.

I was playing on ea japan today,and i'm microing the whole chinese team.I found a nice comfy hill to camp,and observe the frontline.Then i noticed there is two helicopters dogfighting in mid-air.The cobra was smoking.Suddenly,the Tom Hanks pistol hax came into my mind.So i pulled out my pistol and empty a clip into the cobra and guess what happen?

I prefer sneaking up on people in Songhua Stalemate....especially for PRC when USMC has taken all the flags and is sniping into PRC's base, flanking them and shooting them with a full clip in the back. That's for not watching their six.

A looong time. A few hours I think. This was from a while back when I used to hang out at a Hong Kong unranked server. Didn't really notice that it was taking a while as it was a 64 player map server ( it was BF2 the way it was meant to be played, 64 player killing spree
). I'm not sure how many tickets per side was, though.Our side was continously kicking ass so most players from the other team switched sides and others either disconnected willingly or otherwise. For those of you who have played BF2:SF,
if you think the MEC has no chance in the iron gator map, think again.  mind you, this was a 64 player map (and the server was full). We had the entire lower half of the carrier under MEC control. Lots of intense close quaters battle and teargas. It was freakin awesome |

....its weekend.
Huge lag is common even in countries like US. If you want good pings and fast connection,get up early like 8am.The connection to the account server only took only 2-3 seconds for me,compare to now which required like 10 seconds. btw...shouldn't i be more worried about my kd ratio,because streamyx+FX 5200=ub3r l4gX0rz. |

WHAT THE HELL..... What IS wrong with that map?? I can see a freaking big bridge connecting the two ends of Wake Island from the minimap on the top right corner of screen. And the number of tickets for each side? A modded map? And Konig was there? Man, he must be really having fun. As did everybody else in that __________ map. Like this bunch. These guys are waiting around for their much-loved vehicle WHEN ALL CAN SEE THERE'S AN ENEMY SWIMMING AROUND THE CARRIER. That opposition guy can just waltz up the ship and possibly take out my side's command trailer and etc because NO ONE GAVE A DAMN. 
Of course, THIS would be the other end of the spectrum, right? Deck full of 'copters and no one to pilot them. Idle resources. But like I said earlier, can't blame these people. lol there was once everyone didnt notice that there was one enemy commando even managed to climb all the way to the top deck of our ship and started killing everyone on the ship.

Entered the Dragon Valley map this time,   And spawned at God-Knows-Where but right up on a high place. With really weird construction.  And check out the official racetrack od Dragon Valley! Where buggies can tear up the tarmac of this grand 64-player sized modded map. |

The next map that was loaded was an unmodded map (AFAIS) but those players in it made it damn fun anyway

But all these were just a warming-up to the real manic chaos that ensued....
   (1) Everybody joined in the madness of packing the AA enclosure with every type of potent explosives used in the game; pre-procedures for C4-propelled flights. (2 and 3) Something I frequently did in BF Vietnam, taking a ride ON the 'copters. Fresh air and unobstructed view? Got it.     (1 and 2) Poor support guy. One minute he's giving around much needed ammo, and the next thing; BOOM! I got his corpse ON my AA. Such a grim sight. (3 and 4) The madness of pemandu lesen kopi. All of these 'copters are going around like cracked _______ .....    (1) More mayhem around the AA enclosure. (2) Even this fighter pilot landed in, maybe nak tumpang gembira. (3) Up close and personal. Talk about point-blank range (or for some, kissing distance) That's about it for now. Have a lot more, but I'm not feeling too well at the moment, and I'm tired of ImageShacking all my pics.... Haha this was taken during CNY Eve evening. Me, mobiusone, Fondler ( Oopz sorry its Fodder ), and some guy called Typher were all playing in the same Jap crazily-modded server... Decided to create a scene by making a really cool background and strike Charlie's Angels poses hehe... Photography by me... I know it's a cool pic... I can handle praises hehe...
In the top of a reservoir/base/roof whatever, where a whole bunch of buggies were parked. I asked Typher and Mobiusone to strike poses... Too bad no one's listening... 
Typher was looking at me like a blurcase... and then Mobiusone jumping from buggy to buggy like some monkey from Taman Negara... 
Gave orders and decided to go to a more deserted and less-disturbed area. Gathered up all the cars, buggies and tanks to make a cool background... that Power Rangers style you know... where the robots stand behind the rangers and everything.. blahh im crapping... here is the process 
Mobiusone and Typher done with land vehicles. Defaeco still trying to hover his chopper in mid-air... but to no avail... 
The final result ! Charlie's Angels pose ! W00ooot !! Hahaha syok-sendiri lehh !

Yeah, the beauty of playing online in the wee hours of the morning.
More of the Wake Island Action Specials from that Friday morning (27th I think):     (1) Me and DeFaeco racing buggies. He usually gets the lead, until he got stuck between the trees at the end of this bridge . Don't fret, everyone got stuck there plenty of times. I once hit that bunker and blew up the first time I raced here .(2) As mentioned before, the Wake Island Racing Circuit is addictive activity. But like in the pic, all of us went and 'decorated' the place with well-placed vehicles. That's what I love about this online community. No matter that everybody comes from different places and nations, at times we get the same ideas and we execute it together and enjoy doing it .(3) Because DeFaeco was my squad leader at that time, I spawned at his location, right at the gunner's seat. But lo and behold! my pilot dissappeared, and I was left there spinning around (and thankfully didn't crash down). It took me a while to gather my thoughts and figure out that I was alone in the 'copter .(4) Commander DeFaeco to the rescue! Coming down from a C4-AT mine-induced leap.From the Saturday evening (28th):    (1) Overloading? kinGz_koniG and I hitchhiking on mobiusone's ride (though I got special seat where I could see mobiusone himself )(2) Sentry? I saw redbull_y2k doing ace combat maneuvers near the stack. Got into a heli myself and greeted him with missiles ; Sorry if bugging you.(3) APC traffic jam? Or parade formation? Later they blew up one to start a chain reaction of exploding armoured containers. That's about all of my post for now. I'm going balik kampung up north this Sunday morning; will be back around Wednesday evening. So to all of ye glorious LYN Soldiers: Happy Chinese New Year and Happy Holidays! All right guys, Fodder Soldier is back! And with a new project plan to execute in the Jap's Weird Server. And this project would be executed beautifully with the help of several guys.
- What I would need is a minimum of 5 other players, preferably all using SpecOps weapon kits, cause this project will require plenty of C4 detonations done in sequence. And one of the group should hold Commander role, cause we will need freaking resupplies. - Once in the map, I will scout for a perfect location to execute the project. I will take on Squad Leader role so that everybody taking part in this would be able to home in on my current position. - Another project requirement would be the presence of multiple light and medium vehicles, e.g. buggies, jeeps, APCs and boats on the project site location. This project will involve buggies only at first, but the other vehicles will participate as well when the project shows more promise. - One more thing, since I would like to record this project for posterity's sake, at least one member of the group should have Fraps or something equivalent. Unless we do the same bunch of stunts we did in the vanilla maps before, but this time in the blindness of night! Such inane confusion! Where we C4-propel ourselves smack into unseen structures! And drive around full-speed in the dark with no night-goggles on and hope we crash into only soft objects e.g. fellow teammates!
I might actually consider drafting up a Project Plan for the SF maps as well. It will be a waste to pass up such a unique opportunity to enjoy and utilise the new environment parameters. |

I got my c4 badge complements of SAF boys. They play extremely well together. Which means they also die together. I hid a few c4's at a flag the were trying to capture and BOOM, 6 kills. Respawn, try capturing another flag BOOM, another 6 kills. Then comes a heroic medic from their side trying to revive, chuck a c4 and lo and behold, I got a c4 badge.
This was on easg's SF server playing the iron gator map. They won the round of course |

for me,it took longer than that.There was once i almost got it, i detonate c4s by relying it on my hunch(no uav or "enemy infantry spotted!!").surprisingly,i got 2-3 kills each time i detonate.But...all of a sudden,the server shut down itself..WTF??? |

Man, last night was plain nuts! Played online on GameArena's 64 player map, such kemeriahan! Of course, got owned couple of times, but I gave back as hard when needed
.But during the Operation Clean Sweep map, I got the chance to play gunner in an Mi-28 attack helicopter, with a superb Soldier piloting it. And of all things that I constantly whacked around the map was............ DeFaeco  The 1st time... The 2nd time... And the 3rd time I had no idea DeFaeco was in there as well at that time. I think he just landed in to join the fun, but just got on the opposition side, and hence.... owned . That was what I get for being partners of clan _PLAN_ members; those guys are regular wicked pilots.Dang, he must be having a bad day. The thing is, how to use the Battlerecorder? I always wanted to try it at least once. Is it true that you're able to view back the recording made from different point of views/camera angles (e.g. first person, third person, static camera, etc)?
Cause I've seen video clips made by couple of people using recordings where you can see the action from those type of different angles. Way cool looking, too. |

Yeah, the existence of those 'Red Dudes'. One of the ultimate causes of confusion during the hectic gameplay of Battlefield 2.
 Came across some of these Red Dudes quite frequently nowdays. And at first I shot anyone of these unfortunate guys I came across to death, then I learnt when I bury a couple of bullets into them and they don't shoot back, I just assume they are members of the same club and I spare them from further torment-laden humiliation. Of course the thing worse than this Red Dudes phenomena is the 'Blue Enemy' syndrome. These pricked-up buggers who you think are amongst your best buddies just mows you down upon contact, proving my somewhat rattled suspicions that they ARE the opposition in disguise. Some I met I've managed to blow into oblivion, and then I get a nice rewarding statement from the server saying I've initiated a teamkill! Bloody Hell Then when I stumble upon these Blue Buggers after that, I just experimented a bit; let that arse shoot me; yep, he too received the teamkill action reward! Such a satisfying outcome! Wonder what it portends? Are the servers overtaxed with the huge gaggle of Soldiers present on one map at the same particular moment? Or is the software just plain bloody bugged-up like nobody's business? ... and I digress. Getting back to the lightheartedness of Scenes in BF2,  - A MEC fighter jet, A US fighter jet, and a flying Fodder Soldier corpse - All three are capable of achieving supersonic speeds, no? This is Project 2 of the Fodder Soldier Experiences Weird Jap Server To Teh Death Of Sanity! Collaboration Projects. The first Project involves C4-assisted vehicular flight, covering the domain of 'reach-fer-the-sky-asswhuppers!' concept, so Project 2 will cover the 'love-thy-ground-where-thee-were-born-upon' concept; in other words: GroundHuggers Activities! Case in point: Races. As known by all, the most frequent races done in these modded unranked servers are the buggy and jet races. So I am taking into consideration those two favourite racing vehicles and changing each of their usual racing parameters a bit. Result: More fun skill-based racing tournaments! First, the multi-terrain (except water) buggy. Races with this vehicle class are usually done following the premapped roads or like in Rirri server's case, along the built bridges that add to the racecourse circuit patterns around the maps. After testing some of the 64-player maps, I have found that the most challenging parts of the maps for buggy racing is: The Edge Of Teh Maps.  As seen here, the terrain looks pretty simple and featureless, devoid of any driving hazards.  Wrong. Hidden nooks and bumps, bloody irregular surfaces and bloody hazardous!. The ultimate all-terrain endurance test! Where every kilometer or so you have to get out and fix up your ride before continuing (if you don't get flipped over -like in pic- or fall into a ravine first), or else you'll transform into nothing more than a ball of flame and metal junk!. Travelling at the very edge of the maps truly is an experience to cherish about! Second race concept will really test the controlling skills of the flyboys. A test to find out if good pilots make good drivers. The new challenging arena for supersonic fighterjets is: Teh Roads.  This is what it means to roadrace aerial jets. A new dimension unfolds and challenges the pilot's senses and skills. The control of the engine thrust and directional rudder is pivotal in these conditions. Go fast and you'll see the heavens (figuratively, since the jet would just angle upwards). Go too fast and you will see Heaven (literally). I found out what it feels like being inside a crumpled-up flaming piece of alluminium tin.... Though some part of the maps will require pilots to approach obstacles much carefully, due to narrow pathways, rough roadstretches, varried road elevations, etc. Keep in mind that jets ARE the most fragile road racers. You wouldn't want to accidentally clip your wing to a low-hanging tree, pirouette and BLOW UP, would you?  And like the edge-of-map buggy racing, you will frequently stop for repairs and in the pic's case, refuel (diesel anyone?). It's an interesting idea, too. A pitstop with pitstop crew for fighterjets.......  Thus the details of Project 2, brought to you by the cranial growth that is The Brain of Fodder Soldier . I hope that this Project too will receive support from fellow wild-hearted Soldiers like before. After all, these Projects are designed for Soldiers to enjoy the grand BF2 realisms unrealistically. Participations are highly welcome. Player tip: As evident from the descriptions above, the ideal kit for participants to use is the Engineer kit, 'cause there'll be a lot of fixin' to do! LOL... In Sharqi map I found a good angle on the center map just on top of the crane. People cannot see you but you can see people. Even they saw a portion of your body but there is no tag appearing on the screen.

Wow, good for you, lucky you got a swell team that you're able to coordinate with to win the round. What position on the map did you take for you to be able to command your team safely, might I ask? Or were you in a vehicle and kept being mobile all the time? I've yet to earn my basic command badge, still gathering the nerve to carry that responsibility of command, see? Maybe I'll give it a shot once I passed my Gunnery Sergeant |

Today's round of the P]G[K Preliminary Training at GA server #24 (Karkand) was..... no comment...
Now, is this a team or what? Go swim together....  But this, a showcase of erratic driving until the whole van tipped over on its side... and its 'contents' came spilling out and laughing away, jamming up the squad commo... Good grief...
