If you are deciding on taking it back for warranty claim why not try restore it first and see if it helps.

You can just plug in and use itunes to restore. Is your previous shsh saved? In case it works after restore and you want to downgrade back to enjoy untethered jb.

For maxis you can just bring the phone and service card.No need owner to come along. Recommended maxis centre would be klcc.

I think any maxis outlet also same. The first thing they will check for cosmetic damaged followed by the water sensors. Sometimes they will also check if the set is jb. Its best to restore before sending for warranty claim.
But you can still try..maybe lucky. |

Gsm can but AT&T sets are locked sets. You need to unlock the phone and use gevey for sim.

Try to restore and see if the problem is still there. make sure you have your shsh saved before restoring.
