What does a function test do?

the function test is the test to determine whether all the mobile phone parts such as screen, camera, speaker, headset jack, vibrate works perfectly...

i dont think iphone got any short key like function test on samsung and other brand..

Is there a way to make the sound unlock,lock and taking picture to be silent? Mine does not have sound currently. I m afraid that there is some prob with it. Tested with ringtones but no prob

Is your side sound switch set to mute (means pushed down away from screen and have red dot)..??? If so you have muted your iPhone from all sounds (ringtones u can play and hear when in Settings)...

Flip up the switch (its next to the volume rockers) on the left side of the phone (when facing the screen)... and you will head the lock, unlock and camera button sounds...

Yah just found out. No wonder there is no sound thanks for the heads up.

I can receive the picture MMS but having troubles viewing them.
Whenever I click open the sender's name from my inbox, I can only see this...



What's the cause of it and how do I fix this issue?

have u try restart ur iphone??if still happen after reboot try reset ur iphone..press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for about ten seconds. After ten seconds you should see the Apple logo showing up...if after reset the problem not solved restore ur ios....

I have tried restarting but the problem was not solved
My phone has been jailbroken, can I still do the reset without losing my apps and data?

yes u can..just hold home button n sleep button till apple logo appeared..

anyone know how to set custom equalizer for ipod app?...or any apps can set equalizer?..i bought a good in-ear headphone, but the treble is too much...hurting my ears for long time music listening..the preset equalizer arent good enough for me...any idea?

have u try setting the equalizer that u use??try to change it in setting>ipod>eq>treble reducer

Try EQu... and/or Equalizer...

Psst... EQu is more resource hungry and can sap batt faster than Equalizer... but i prefer the audio quality of EQu more...

I need help please. Is Apple ID problem.
I have my own Apple ID then

In whatever settings on my phone My Id is registered . In App Store there , there are few columm like
Featured , Categories, Top 25 , Search and Updates.

No matter what I click my Id is there except the Updates when I click on the button ' Update All '
or 1 by 1 ...

Anyone can help please?

Yup it is turned on. I used to be able to see my picture MMS but it just stopped functioning 2 days ago. Very weird.

R u sure its your phone and not Maxis problems?? Maxis have been having data problems the past few days...

Have u sent the MMS to other telco, see if they can see it?? Also, send that same MMS to other Maxis users, see if they can see it.... if they can, then maybe your phone have problems...
