Introduction
In conjunction of the Grand Opening of MINES 2 Shopping Mall, we in collaboration with MINES 2 proudly present MINES 2 DotA Championship’11. Under this event, everybody can play DotA without hassle as its all free and everybody should tryout in order to have a taste DotA in the highest possible level. Do join us for this event as there could be surprises that you will never expect and you won’t regret it!!!


(Event A) MINES 2 DotA Championship 2011

Teams / Players Banned from the Tournament: Ex-Nirvana.My, MUFC & IG-ICE
--> None of these ex-team players can participate in this tournament

The Winner of the Tournament will be the sole representative for Malaysia to the TGX'11 in Singapore

Introduction
TGX 2011 will feature the first ever TGX Arena Regional – DotA Championships. This competition will feature teams from the region (Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, India, Malaysia, Indonesia) to battle it out to become the first TGX Arena Regional DotA Champion

Be the sole representative of Malaysia for The Game Xpo (TGX) ’11 this September (9th – 11th September 2011)

Format: Double Elimination

Mines 2 DotA Championship 2011 with TGX - Malaysia Qualifiers

The 1st of many Mines 2 DotA Championship 2011 debuts on last weekend on the 29th - 31st July 2011 with a total of 36 teams all around the country has participated in this event. Notable teams such as the current form team of SMM Johor & EC8's Inter-Cyber King DotA Tournament - team Kingsurf-JJ has put their foot into the Mines 2 DotA battleground, together with Team iRelax, Team Gigabite 2.0, Team Invasion-Red has printed their footsteps in the newly opened Mines 2 Shopping Mall in Seri Kembangan.

The grueling 3 days tournament begins with the draw of brackets which has pitted Team KS-JJ in the same brackets as the likes one of the Kampar powerhouses- Team A-Station [ARMS] , Team Gigabite 2.0 and also Team Bla Bla Bla (formerly known as Team Sino - who has graced quite a number of tournaments in 2011). iRelax meanwhile has no easier routes either with Team Qiang graced by the former player of Cybertime-GOV's Hiphop and Invasion-Red featuring NasH & Co all in their pathways to the finals. In the end, both teams has clawed their pathways and set up a dream final between them. Along with great insights & play-to-play action comments from the likes of Nash - the official shoutcaster of M2DC'11, the finals has been a great one with a great comeback from 4 barracks down by Kingsurf-JJ over team iRelax.

Meanwhile,the TGX Malaysia Qualifers was conquered by the newly formed Team MUFC with ease without losing even a single game of the competition. MUFC is now the representative for Malaysia to the TGX'11 Arena Regionals - DotA during the 9th - 11th September '11 with all expenses paid trip to Singapore. Let us hope that they will carry our flag to the top in the games and make us Malaysian proud to be DotA players !!!
