There's no gpu inside ipad2 right? so we only get the basic qualify of videos?

Assuming those youtube videos have been converted to HTML5 which most are not so NO, I don't think iPad 2 is a good choice as it does not support Flash.

Oh now i know it depends on the screen too. Which screen is the best?

Ah? I thought speed depends on the wifi speed? Or is it because it is using html5?

darn slow man. especially when using the pre-installed app. I dont think it depends solely on the wifi speed since no problem with my laptop when I play youtube vids.

slow? mine Ipad 2 can stream HD youtube vidoes w/o any problem, the slowness is not the IPAD is your connection

aiyo..youtube is only 2d videos. It doesn't need a dedicated GPU. That is only for 3D games. Slow is because of bandwidth. Nothing to do with GPU. Anyway, have you looked at games like Infinity Blade? If ipad2 can run that, how can youtube be any sweat to it.

Besides the speed, i heard some videos cannot be converted into html5.

Do try this app if you would like view any streaming video on ipad.

when i use mobile version then is ok.

Then i realize iPad they are streaming 480p quality instead of 360p so thats why it is slow cause the file is bigger

start sangkut2 when playing the hd one.
i think maybe my connection was at fault in the first place.
