Kuen Cheng primary = co-ed
Kuen Cheng sec = girls only F1-F5 - this is a problem for those unable to afford pre-u college with no choice but to go to F6. The Min of Edu is very inconsiderate here - they just dump them like orphans to any F6 schools with leftover places, so KC girls may be put in schools far away from their house, for e.g., Gombak or Setapak. |

BU Puay Chai is favorite for parents who are professionals, even yellow banana who went to missionary schools. in some cases, indian parents.
But waiting list is 3 years, even if you have BU address, there is no guarantee...I got a neighbor who had to pay RM1.2mil so buy a house in Bdr Utama in order to get a BU address...and his kid is only 2 years old. Most parents opt for Chinese primary, but for sec schools - they send to SM schools or overseas (Singapore, Australia). This post has been edited by md11: Jul 19 2011, 05:02 PM |
