I dont want mini or mini pro...i want big big screen with long battery life and also last long. how long does a handphone can last? 3 years or 4 or 5? depending now...there are no physical keys to push so i think we dont even need to change keypad. this is my first smartphone that i going to purchase.
*
Big screen add budget if want first hand phone. Battery life can be settled by good management and additional backup battery.

Price cheaper than C5-00.

Battery life damned long. ---> fresh unit can survive entire night with external speakers on and still have about 30% at least.

Camera better than C5-00 as well.

Candy bar design with dedicated noise cancellation mic.

SE speakers damned loud for that model. Yikes...

Hi..

Currently I'm using Nokia N97..
Still works charm...
But sometimes it lags... Especially when I'm using it for surfing the net.
(The common problem with these Nokia phone is the phone memory sad.gif )
So, I wonder...
Is there any replacement for that Nokia N97 which can performs 'OK' doing everyday's task? Surfing, SMSing, Calling... (I don't really care about the movies / audios... Will use it some times.. but  not that often... ).
Camera also don't really bother biggrin.gif....

I'm thinking bout selling off my Nokia N97...

I'm looking for an affordable phone that can do these stuff (probably sub-600?)

The problem with sub-600 that I can find is the screen resolution  sad.gif

Nothing is perfect dude. Want a perfect phone, then pay for the "perfect price".

I suggest you take a good Look at the SGS Plus.

I was thinking to start a new thread on my question but I saw this thread, yay!

Anyway, I've been using this Android phone (Samsung Galaxy 5), it was a very nice phone from my dad, used it for a few months but there're some parts that I ain't just happy about. I take photos occasionally and some heavy use on messaging, checking e-mails and social networks, some of the typical things that everyone do.

However, I've been eyeing on WP7 phones for quite sometimes before I got my first Android phone, I love the Metro UI very much and the clean interface, it's just sad that the phone just lack <_smartphones_features_insert_here_> that you can name of.

Now that I have the fund to get myself a new phone, but I'm having a hard time to pick which one suits me. Help me to end my dilemma here sad.gif

It would be better if you list out the purpose of buying the phone.

my mom ask some random phone dealer said SE X10 mini (dont know with pro or non-pro) RM799

this one good ar? She seems to easily believe what phone seller said doh.gif I on the other hand do not believe phone dealer said, user feedback > phone dealer.  need some convincing power so try list some good point.  sweat.gif

Rm800 what phone best for realiability
RM1000 still SE Neo?

Spec dont really mind, she just want a phone last longer lol.(that LG gw525 must be upsetting her a lot)

Was wanting to tell her Huawei, she said small brand dont talk lol. rclxub.gif
*
A phone can last long or not depend on the user as well, but sometime they do die "naturally".

Huawei is still new, so it is better to invest back in SE.

Go for SE Neo would be a good choice since it is being planned to use for the next 3 years like you say.

Taking this kind of stuff have to confirm about warranty issues if it is not officially sanctioned by Maxis.

Later any problem with the phone and there might be no warranty for the unit. doh.gif

Guys, I'm look for a phone that have extra big front size for my dad.

Requirement:
-Big screen Big front size.
-Easy to use
-Big keypad
-Budget around RM400-500
-Any brand as long as have the feature to make front size bigger.
*
I can only think of Nokia C5-00 that have the big keypad. It is better if you can borrow one to let your dad see if he likes it or not.
