it is not related to picture that you captured.. it is just enhanced your display

Can someone please recommend a phone with the following specs:

1. Brand. Any
2. Budget. RM500, can go up in the interest of reliability and durability
3. Specs.
a. Can send and receive SMS
b. Can call out and receive calls
c. GPS receiver mainly to track distance covered, time taken and speed; map secondary, but would be good, esp if I can download malfreemaps
d. USB connectivity with PC
e. Speakers clear and audible - prefer to listen through speakers than through earpiece.
f. Camera not that important, but would be a nice touch if it has decent resolution
g. Not at all interested in wifi, 3G, games, music, funny applications etc etc, not going to use the phone to connect to the internet.

4. Type/Size. Any

Thanks.

Thanks for the three responses. Between the Nokia and the Samsung models named, which would be my choice if I'm currently using Garmin software for my standalone GPS unit and wish to continue using that for the handphone instead of having to switch to some other system?

Hello phone sifus

Need help choosing phone for my dad.

1) Brand: Reputable ones but Nokia would be first choice

2) Price: RM400 and below

3) Specs: Calls, text (need big keypads for this), no touchscreen (he's old school), camera would be nice

4) Type: Candybar but more importantly, size must be medium not big say like SE Experia

Thanks notworthy.gif

Hey every sifuss, it's me again, this time were to ask on behalf of my sis sweat.gif

So my sis is facing dilemma in choosing 3 phones right now, which are
- iphone 4s, galaxy note, and galaxy SII

She was interested with galaxy note the most, but then became skeptical when my elder sis told her that galaxy note has just being nominated as "the worst phone of the year"
(I wonder where did she get this info, never heard any of this news doh.gif )

Can anyone share some thoughts on choosing a phone for her?
She don't have any specific requirement for her new phone since she's quite a noob in smartphones xD
But then she wants a decent quality camera on it if possible (not necessary to be superb though)
Thank you in advance! notworthy.gif

i still suggest iPhone 4S , get the data plan with it.. [suggest buy from Maxis or Digi]

galaxy note isn't the worst phone of the year..., for some reason it maybe have a bug/something that need to be fix or tweak

it is also big...

iPhone 4S kinda sexy and smaller... thumbup.gif

Budget less than 2.5k.. screen more than 4 inch...looking nice on the outside..sleak design...prefer white actually...some phone i have in mind is samsung note / nexus or maybe 4S...but heard that note is a little too big and lag...4S not much difference with iphone4...so don't know which one to get..

For the low & budgeted models, the camera is not that good.

I can only think of Nokia C5-00 that have the big keypad. It is better if you can borrow one to let your dad see if he likes it or not.
