sorry.. stupid question here.. will a smartphone hibernate the data like laptop does when the battery finished? or just black out ?

basically nope [although there are maybe available apps for it]


when the battery finished, it will just turn off
but there are some special features for some smartphone that we called it as energy saving [if the battery is really low, energy saving will be activated] .. that's all

I'm going to replace my E72 soon. I buy phone because of battery's life. That's the no 1 reason I bought E72. Secondly, I do heavy emailing and online about 10hours daily using 3G connection. So what's the best phone that can suit my need? My budget is less than RM1500.

Blackberry 9780 - RM 1180 AP / RM 1250 ORI
Nokia E6 - RM 815 AP / RM 915 ORI

Looks that I have to settle with Nokia again

I wish that there's smartphone that has good battery life but I'm trying to be realistic here. So I'm not asking which smartphone has good battery

so far i can recommended those two which is excellent in emailing and also browsing.

I dont mind with anything as long the phone has good battery life and I able to online throughout the day without recharging my battery. The thing that I'm gonna do the most us skype-ing, emailing and foruming.

Actually I'm looking for a smartphone but afraid the battery will drain out very fast. The E6 seems good but I don't wanna live with almost the same phone again. I just done a quick survey and found out that Samsung Galaxy W has good long talk time. But not sure how the battery perform for 3G/online.

play certain game sure will lag due to your budget

increase ur budget get the Neo V @ 790 ap, 3.7"/5mp/3g/wifi/gps

i like both oso Nexus S and Neo V but xperia mini seems to have small display. thanks all sifu for the recommendations

i cant find even one nexus s here in my place (Miri, Sarawak)..seems like it ceased to exist already here do u have any idea where i can find it here - i mean from a good/recommended dealer

btw, what is the touchwiz the nexus s using now? can it be upgraded to the 4th ver like the one on the galaxy r? coz i kind dun like the scarce/plain ui on the nexus s though
