How can we find out the browsing speed and the smoothness of the phone by looking at the specs?

General smoothness I don't think u can really tell. For example, LG optimus 2X got 1GHz dual-core processor..512MB RAM...but still laggy on stock rom. Also, reviews from the web can't really be trusted either cuz sometimes those lagginess will only come out after a few weeks/months of usage. So the best is still to follow your desired phone's official thread here and read as much as u can or ask what u wanna know Perhaps i think wait for maybe 2-4 weeks after the phone is released in here, then only buy after reading/discussing for those 2-4 weeks in its official thread. If you can wait, it's always better to wait as the price will drop eventually as new models come. Cheers
