Chelsea drew and Torres failed to score again. Kinda pity looking at his current situation.

I watched the game and he looks more dangerous under new manager.

Ayala seals Norwich move

Daniel Ayala has finalised his move to Norwich City, subject to the relevant paperwork being completed.

The defender leaves Liverpool after four years at Anfield, during which time he made five first-team appearances.

maxi is a decent back up , touchwood *if kuyt, downing is injured I dont know who can replace him.Maxi is the best choice that can play on both flank and he didnt complaint sit on the bench.A quality professional and good friend to lucas and suarez too.

not very happy with charlie , I think he is too slow, resulted vermalean got 2 shot on target just doing agger-style and blast the ball.

I think he should stay discipline on the box just like xabi last time , slow but most of the times keep things under control

Henderson makes Sergio Aguero look like a steal.
*
henderson now only 21 years old while Aguero 23years old ..comparing a 16million and 38million? come on ,give him time ...not everyone are messi , 19years old already a star

Glad carroll subbed out. He ruined the game..

IMO , our first plan is to counter arsenal from set pieces , although Wenger field mostly 2nd teams but still is Arsenal and playing in Emirates where our away record so far was awful.(we never won thr b4 until today)

Over-confident will makan diri.

QUOTE(farisq @ Aug 20 2011, 11:49 PM)
Just want to say Kenny tactic was spot on tonite.
During 1st half I admit I was thinking that we should have started with Suarez and try to get early goal and then hold on to it.

People were saying that we were playing a depleted Arsenal team. But the fact is their starting eleven cosnsisted of all the regular players with exception of two; Frimpong and Jenkinson. But still we could have advantage of that. I'm dissapointed with our first half performance cause we did not play as a team. Not enough understanding between players, we hesitated on making forward passes, not enough off the ball movement.

But in term of KD plan I think it worked out well. Carroll made their defense worked hard to contain him and as a result Koscielny limped out of the game. That sets the stage nicely for Suarez to enter and terrorize their inexpereince defend. And when Frimpong sent off it was just the perfect time to unleash the no. 7 and for the plan to come together.

And we sure love it when a plan comes together!  blush.gif

But despite the win there's still a lot to be improved on especially on how the players to play as a team and work as a unit.
*
I think every player should cover each other , we have so many players that can carry the ball forward , (kuyt, downing, henderson, enrique, kelly, charlie adam)

watching lucas is the only player who cover for all of them , even I think charlie should be more discipline in tracking ball player ahnd helping lucas.I am very angry when I saw Vermalean carry the ball forward and blast it without any penetration from our midfield.

Last time we only have players like johnson and arbeloa who do all the attacking both side while the player like Alonso,Lucas,Mascherano cover the full back and take control in midfield.I am not worry because player like mascherano will chase the hell player that try to counter attack us.

We will see what happen when Gerrard is back.

Liverpool somehow helped to sour the mood at the Emirates even more on Saturday with a 2-0 win over Arsenal that left the home fans booing their side off the pitch. An Aaron Ramsey own goal in the 78th minute and a Luis Suarez 90th minute tap-in proved to be the difference.

And after that Suarez goal, Raul Meireles celebrated by giving Lucas the finger -- a joke in reference to when Emmanuel Frimpong, who was sent off in the 70th minute, did the same thing to Lucas earlier. Albeit with a bit more anger.

And just how depressed is Arsene Wenger with one point and only one goal scored (for the opposing side) after two matches? Exactly this depressed...

That should be our strategy in out first league match seeing that Suarez just back from copa tournament.
Rest him on the bench and out him in when required. Lost two points at home.
*
this is because king kenny feel suarez was very sharp in training and why not give him a try =)

anyone reading this from dailymail about red nev try to tapping up gerrard back in 2004?

QUOTE
Steven Gerrard is undoubtedly a world class player and I wish he'd played for United. I went on a tapping-up mission at Euro 2004 when I knew Chelsea were trying to take advantage of Liverpool
being in turmoil.

'Come play for United,’ I said one day to Steven when we were in the hotel. 'The fans will take to you in no time.' He just laughed, and said: 'I’ll do it if you go to Anfield.'

no way I am seeing Dirk Kuyt leaving us , we still need his energy and experience.Never complaint or felt tired when he is on the field.

he is very nice to fans and watching his celebrate his goal against Malaysia as it was an important goal and being the only liverpool player that wave to the fans when they are leaving the stadium.

QUOTE(Rotuham @ Aug 24 2011, 12:58 PM)
Ah,you have your opinion and i have mine.I just dont think he has what is needed to play left wing or right wing.He scores two hattricks and suddenly he is the best player in everyone's eyes.Question: Where was he when we were playing badly or needed a goal?

Players like soto stood up during the tough times and gave his all.I'll never slate people like soto, kuyt or ngog because they give their all although they are limited.
But not maxi.Doesnt do anything decent worthwhile and all of a sudden given a hero's reception.

Before any of you start by saying that who else decent is gonna be willing to sit on the bench, let me ask will you be happy taking 40-60k
for doing nothing everyweek?i rather let players like sterling or suso be on the bench.
*
Well , I got a question..* touchwood ...if Downing and Kuyt get injured , who gonna replace them on wing?If you watch highlights against Fulham , his first 2 goals come from his excellent running into the space.

dont think king kenny will put 17years old (suso) and 16 years old (raheem) on the bench. Beside Dirk Kuyt (striker) , Henderson (central midfield) , Meireles (central midfield) , we dont have anyone that can play on right wing.
