What do you guys do if your lectures/classes clash? Just wanna know. I have clashing class/lecture this sem, hopefully can handle the subject without going for lecture.

Arghh. I'm still in a bit of dilemma because of this. My lecturer have been asking me to change to other subject since it's an elective. It's a very small class, hardly 25 students, only one lecture and one tutorial session. I just wanna pass this subject because I find it useful for my future. Not so much of aiming to get a HD.

I haven't step into the cafeteria since uni started. Don't think I'll be doing so anytime soon.

Not only that, she reduce the number of nuggets too. Last time got more.
It's not as tasty as well.

Sometimes that road all the way straight to the exit can be quite jam during peak hours, especially around 6-7pm.
What you can do is turn left immediately after you turn right at the last t-junction, at the next t-junction turn right, then go all the way straight (it's quite a big road), and turn right again at the next t-junction, then turn left and you'll end up at the exit. It's usually faster than the jam but very much longer.

It's the so call "Desert", or if you turn left, it's the "Jungle".

Usually eat at Medan, white, or Sunway Pyramid, or just go home and eat.
I'm lucky most of my classes ends around 1pm or 2pm. After that can just take the car and go somewhere else to eat.

I heard people come over to Malaysia to do summer school. Not sure though. I'm sure the website has some info about it.

Could be true. Sunway area rental ain't that cheap. Even those condos near Sunway university are also quite expensive. The last I heard was about RM700-800 a month.

Got the best results ever for my last sem in Monash. Gonna graduate with so much happiness. Haha. Hope all you guys get great results too!

If not mistaken, I think you can make a complain or something for them to mark it a second time if you're not satisfied with your marks.

No it does not come with honours. You'll have to get good grades and apply for honours when you completed your 3 years degree. This will all be introduced and explained in detailed during orientation.

Psychology and Business isn't exactly the same as Pharmacy. It's what the name says - Psychology and Business study. For every semester, you'll be taking 2 psychology subjects and 2 business subjects. The business subject will be from the business major you wish you pursue in, e.g. Marketing, Management, International Business, Accounts, etc. In the 1st year, you'll be taking 1 psych subject and 3 core business subject for each semester.

The bulk of psychology marks are in lab classes and reports/assignments, final exam is fully MCQs for all the psych subjects. You'll be learning about theories, some bio stuff, how to do researches, analysing data, writing reports and all that. For the business subjects, it'll be the same subjects that the Business students are in.

Psych and Business is not a double degree. It's a double major and honestly, the workload isn't that heavy.

Nothing is necessary. I took psychology cause I had interest in psychology but business was still my main thing. My batch only had around 30 students or so taking that particular degree. Psychology is not about reading people's mind. So I don't really understand where you're coming from with the 'necessity to include psych into business' thing.

I was suppose to get mine within 1-2 weeks. But the stupid Kangaroo courier service that Monash used couldn't find my house for 3 times. I had to make some calls and give them directions to get them to deliver my offer letter so it took around 3 weeks for me.

Nope. I live in Shah Alam all the time. Lol. Poslaju have no problems at all finding my house. If they had used Poslaju then it would be much easier. I think they had some problems with Kangaroo also. Last time they used Kangaroo. That was in 2009.

I did receive an email but it was more like a notification for me to expect my offer letter in hard copy in my mailbox soon.

Most likely. Our financial invoice for payment also now sent via email already. I used to receive it in my letter box.

Imo, Sunway campus not that bad. They still spoonfeed from time to time. Especially help with assignments.

Make sure you pay attention on how to search for journal articles too!

I was a pure science student as well. But I took accounts in my foundation year.
Microeconomics is the basic of the basics. Since it's a core subject, they will teach you from the beginning as if you don't know a single thing about economics. I've never know what economics was all about but this subject wasn't that hard. You just have to understand the concept, draw the graphs and you'll be fine.

You can google but most of the journals you find online will only give you the summary or the preview of it. Cause these journals are not free for all, you have to pay to get the full version. Basically most of the journals that you can find via google, you can also find on monash library database. The database also has Google Scholar which I find quite useful at times.

Check their website. Different course has different entry requirements. Some also require you take certain subjects as a requirement.

Requirement score basically pre-u courses, STPM, Year 12 and those of similar qualifications.
