Anyway I have a question. How do I log into the computers in the library/ around the campus? Previously I've changed my password for my authcate and everything works fine except for logging into the computers in the university. Any steps that I have missed out?

What do you guys do if your lectures/classes clash? Just wanna know. I have clashing class/lecture this sem, hopefully can handle the subject without going for lecture.

I don't get why the nuggets keep increasing their price. When it first started out, one packet costed Rm 2.90. Then went up to Rm 3.00. And now RM 3.50.

looks like monash is getting more and more commercialized. although making $$$/breaking even is important, i believe as an respectable institution they have a standard and reputation to maintain.

There are no graduates from this course from Monash Sunway yet since the first intake was back in Feb 2011. It appears to be the same Bachelor or Commerce course offered in Clayton, differing from Bachelor of Business and Commerce. From what I gathered from attending the course preview last year, it differs because:

1) Apparently more difficult both to enter and in terms of subjects
2) Much smaller classes (due to smaller intake and entry requirements)
3) Try to focus on more case studies during tutorials
4) More in depth syllabus in accounting?
5) Justified by their higher fees...

I decided to opt for Bachelor of Business and Commerce instead. while you can choose the same major(s), they claim that the subjects are of a different depth which i am unable to confirm. Its best you talked to the business school to discuss your options. However, I personally don't know why it costs more in Malaysia because in Australia, they have the same fees there. Consider a number of factors: what you stand to gain, does the extra cost justify this, will employers prefer this degree, do you like a large or small class etc. One thing to bear in mind though, for all the years that Monash was in Malaysia, Monash Sunway grads have ever only had the Bachelor of Business and Commerce degree and still managed to easily land jobs in the big 4 and banks provided they performed well.

Not trying to influence your decision in any way, just sharing what I know. Best that you spoke to reps from the Business School. Hope you make the right choice for yourself! 

Yeah its possible if you don't mind the extra costs of time and money. But u may also have a possibility of having no close friends in your final semester since most will have graduated.

Hello all! I'll be starting at Monash this February under the BA (Global) course. I've been obsessively trawling the net for any info on Monash student life for the past few months. Thought I should bite the bullet and ask here

What are good, cheap food found near the campus without having to drive a car? Also, and this is a particular concern of my father's lol, are there any hazing rituals done during Orientation? I'm an older student and I really can't be arsed to attend Orientation but it's a good way to make friends I suppose so I'm conflicted.

What's the percentage of International students like on campus? Particularly for the Arts courses?

What's a good bank to use? I'll be going to Malaysia soon to open an account before I officially move there.

Is there a big fiction section in the campus library?

What are the streets like in the evening around the campus area? Is it a good idea to go jogging out of campus?
