its a generic foundation year for all courses in Monash. so its not necessarily a foundation for just Phamacy alone

if you enjoy the course why not? but bear in my computer science is not easy at all.

Not wise decision. School of IT is going downhill in Monash. Look elsewhere if you're studying for IT courses.

Good future provided that you work hard for it. Course is not easy but pay is very good if you have professional certification like CCSP from Cisco. Most likely u'll end up in IT Consultant firm in overseas or local. Good future for u in local companies are you can aim for telco like Maxis ,Celcom and Digi. They need this kind of people to look after their network.

But anyhow, u need GPA at least 3.5 which is definitely not easy at all.

There is a very sharp decline in a number of students in School of IT. Alot of lecturers has left, even the head of school left, now SIT is running 'virtually' only. Now most of the remaining students are post grads. When there are lesser students, there wont be much earning there, so...

Its not going downhill. I just graduated from Monash University, Bachelor of Computer science. I dont know where did you get your facts from. Monash has been ranked as the top university for Computer Science in Australia FYI and yes this course is not easy.

the course is tough as mentioned before. Im not bragging or anything, but this course has medium - high failure rates
