I am interested to study Mech Eng here.
I want to know how is the studies here, facilities and lecturers? Anybody want to share their experience studying here?
How much should I allocate for book expenses? And are there any other fees than the tuition fee of 38k ?

What is the difference between the feb and july intake? Why they say july is semester 2? If I join the july intake as a new student, then do I start at sem 2...what happens to sem 1?

Wouldnt it be a problem to study it backwards? Is it really tough to manage?
How is it compared to the oct intake?

I meant backwards as in studying sem 2 first then sem 1... Will it become a problem?

its ok I have the number now. i couldnt open the website last night.

I went to Monash today. I took the canopy walk from Sunway Pyramid to Monash University. It was such a long walk. I will have toned legs walking that distance everyday.
Where do you guys park? How much is the rate? How is the parking there?

How are the engineering facilities here..are they good?

Just one more question, classes are between 9am to 5pm, right? Nothing earlier or later of that time.
How many hours lecture and tutorials? Have lab practicals for engineering or not?

Hey engineering peeps going for july intake. According to the orientation schedule, does it mean that our Tuesday of the orientation week is an off day for us? There is only an activity scheduled for international students on that day. So does that mean we locals no need to attend uni on that day.
