right , gotta walk quite a bit for that blink.gif so junolow, which food do u recommend, drool.gif
the lunchbox down smr is quite alright , but can't have it daily or such. laugh.gif

Hey guys, I have a question about the Authcate account, have you guys already made the account or are you gonna wait till the orientation?
Secondly, I know that we arent allowed to cook in SMR, can we still use a rice cooker for some light cooking?

I've made an account, for some reason it thinks I'm in the Clayton campus.. Probably cause Monash Aus sent the offer before Monash Malaysia..

Autocate account can be done during orientation too... They will bring u guys to PC lab and do ....

But I did it myself b4 orientation... Remember ur id and pass and transaction number( it should be in email) ... U need the transaction number for registering student card I think

Its stated in the Residence Rules & Regulation Clause 9.6 that NO cooking is allowed. A penalty can and may be imposed on residents found in possession of any cooking apparatus, which can and may be confiscated.

btw junolow, the laundry is coin operated ? or we just give them the bag and they do the laundry for us?

went back to msia for cny, drove pass monash... there seem to be a bridge now? from the entrance but where does it lead to?

when i was doing my search for hostel...i remember reading abt smr gives u a laundry bag each week..u can drop it off....not really sure

You can walk all the way to Sunway Pyramid now, passing by Lagoon View Sun U residence and Sunway College Uni tongue.gif

yes, all above the ground.it was built on the existing sunway monorail tracks
