Hi peeps. Mind if I ask that is doing a business major in Monash recommended (many good lecturers)? In specific, International Business. Another question, how is life there (studying enviroment, car park, traffic, social)? I heard that Monash U is best if you want to go to Aussie to study in the future.

Is Pharmacy in Monash very competitive? Would 3A in 3 subjects in A-level (Chem, Bio and Maths) be suffice to be accepted? I wouldn't want to take a 4th subject like Physics or Psychology because I don't have much interest and Sunway College does not allow my subject combination with Economics..

Hi, am very interested in engineering field; but stucked in between EEE(electrical and electronic engineering) and mechanical engineering. Also stucked in between both Nottingham and Monash. Nottingham provides both EEE and Mech but Monash only provide Mech. I don't know whether the Eng in electrical and computer systems are considered as EEE or not. But if i study in monash (taking MUFY for now if i want to) i can save up on accomodation (like a lot). So any suggestion? Thanks.

Any idea where I can find a photocopy shop near Monash or Sunway U?  I need to get a book photocopied.  Normally I don't photocopy books but this one is already out-of-print.

Alright, thanks for the reply. Went there yesterday and asked the counsellor over there, it seems that The Electronic and Computer Systems engineering is actually EEE, its just different naming that's all. Hmm but the fees are not locked in but have to pay different amount every year(i guess students here know what i meant), that's a downside for me :/

LOL, the counsellor told me the fee will increase every year but not more than 6%, guess i had been misled

oh, how about the accommodation? I heard the hostel there is quite expensive right? I don't wanna spend so much on the accommodation, as long as comfortable and clean is enough already for me, let say if the accommodation is RM800 every month, if i can find cheaper one with let say rm500, then i have extra RM300 to spend  I am from east malaysia, that's why I need to rent a room near the campus, hope I can find nearest one so that I don't need to travel far, maybe just walk
er..I saw the google map why is there 2 monash campus near sunway there? I thought there is only one is in sunway university but one is at another side?    which one do we study in?

The exam's over so I dont think I can sit for the the supplementary exam right?

Do lecturers give extra help to those that need it?
or is there a mentor or study group which helps students who ask for it.
Even though i feel my chem adv is a bit not complicated, can't shake of the nagging feeling of not knowing anything about it.

I am planning to do Pharmacy in Monash but am not too sure about the English requirement.. The website says to do IELTS but recently I called up the counsellor from Monash and he told me that I have to do MUET since the Malaysian Pharmacy Board wants that.. Any ideas?

What is the difference between the feb and july intake? Why they say july is semester 2? If I join the july intake as a new student, then do I start at sem 2...what happens to sem 1?

I went to Monash today. I took the canopy walk from Sunway Pyramid to Monash University. It was such a long walk. I will have toned legs walking that distance everyday.
Where do you guys park? How much is the rate? How is the parking there?

How are the engineering facilities here..are they good?

Hi, I'm joining the July 2013 intake. I was told that the Orientation Week starts on 22nd of July and I could get the schedule online but I couldn't. Does anyone have any ideas on how to access to the Orientation Week Schedule? Or maybe it's not even been uploaded yet. LOL
