So my only chance is to appeal for grace mark..
I have emailed the chief examiner and the faculty course manager but none replied yet. :/
48% is so close to passing, failing someone just because of 2% to passing just does not make any sense. They should try to remark and find where can I gain an extra 2 marks in the paper.

Sigghh my case is sad, just one subject to graduate (48% as well). I have asked my lecturer, he just said i am able to take the supplementary exam.

This sucks man. If they wont pass me, my average mark will be drastically low plus I was hoping to exchange to aus. :/
And the failed subject will cost 4k..... dang.

every failed paper is already automatically remarked. if its still a fail, then it means that they cannot find anywhere to give you that 2 marks.

Added on July 11, 2012, 1:14 amif I'm not mistaken, I don't think it'll effect your average mark, or at least it didn't used to. if you retake the subject and pass, then the passing mark will be the one taken towards your average.

May I know how you know about how the marking works?

know it from the lecturers who mark the papers. that's the policy they all adhere to. that's also why there's no such thing as a request for remark in Monash.

48% does not mean that you got a 48%. It the mark they return to everyone who has failed a subject. There's no way to know what your actual marks are except by reviewing your paper and adding the marks with your internals. I've had friends who've checked their papers in the hopes of getting a pass, but alas, life aint all sunshine and rainbows

Just move on man(apply to check your paper just to be sure), learn your lesson and work your ass offf next sem.

also learn from the review on where you had gone wrong during the exam.

definitely dr frances penafort for financial acc issues. she's really good at mind maps which makes studying unit easier.

btw do u need afw3040 financial acc theory by craig deegan ed3 or afw3041 auditing and assurance services in Australia by gay and simnett 4ed? i'm selling them and they're in pretty good condition. i have notes as well.
