lol that sounds harder than mine. Ours is on dta and dtl's, to see if it fits the definition of an asset in the current framework vs the proposed framework. Irritating part is that the lecturer says that the conclusion must be that they fit the definition according to the currrent framework.

BUT THEY DONT!!!! ><"

man.. hate assignments like these :/

Chances are...you have to score really well for them to consider you into Monash..but for business courses it shouldn't be too hard..

Sunway Monash Residence (SMR) is located on campus. Sun-U Residences is located at Sunway University, a short 10-mins walk from Monash University.

SMR has microwave oven and water dispenser to be shared among the residents in the unit. All rooms are equipped with super single sized bed, study table, book shelf, wardrobe, tv and personal mini fridge.

Sun-U Residence has shared fridge, but no tv and other amenities.

may i correct something:Sun U Residence does have TV(the old bulky type one not like SMR which have flat screen TV).the catch is you have to buy your own indoor antenna. some unit of Sun U Residence does have microwave and Sun U Residence also have a washing machine in each unit

You only pay rm100 extra to the Monash University Student Association (MUSA) on top of your course fees every semester. No such thing as general amenities fee, hospitalization and surgical insurance.

QUOTE(xoxo77 @ Mar 29 2012, 06:23 PM)
The total course fee for Bachelor of Business and Commerce is approximately RM31, 000 per year.

- Application fee is RM 100. Usually for credit transfer student, the Student Recruitment Officer will waive it for you.

- Registration fee is RM 200. Once off only.
- General Amenities fee is RM 100. Payable per semester.

The General Amenities fee covers Library and IT Resources, Unit Guide, Course Guide as well as a part of it goes to Student Union.

Thank you both very much! Let's hope they allow me to transfer credit into Year 2 straight but again, these cases are very subjective. Have you both met people with these cases?

I'm interested to do a credit transfer from TAR College to Monash Sunway Campus. I'm aware that credit transfer cases are evaluated case by case. I just wanna know if anyone has done something similar. I want to transfer to second year straight away.

I would also like to how much does it cost to study there? The brochure wrote RM31k per year (for Economics degree). Is that inclusive of the resources fee?

Thank you.

You should probably call up the campus for more info about the fees. It's evaluated on a case by case basis, whereby the subjects that you are transfering to Monash is actually recognized by Monash or not. If it isn't, then you probably have to retake a subject per subject that is not recognized. The results requirement to enter Monash shall not vary far from the initial intake requirement, though every degree and origin of your university affects the requirement. Any other questions, don't hesitate to PM me or call Monash. Cheers.

I don't know if it's your sentence structure or me but that didn't make sense. First you said "FYI" then, a question mark indicating a question. I am going to assume it's a question then.

First off, incorrect. Lancaster university's certificates aren't more prestige/recognized in comparison to Monash University's. Rather, if you are looking for recognition in Malaysia, I'd say Monash does stand a better recognition compared to Lancaster as Monash is pretty well known in Malaysia and of course, in their respective countries, their universities are more recognized as well (Monash in Australia and Lancaster in U.K). If you are looking for rankings, Monash is ahead of Lancaster.

Second, indeed Monash University is known for its relatively high costs. So in conclusion, Monash University does cost, and I believe, a lot more than Lancaster University. Any other questions, don't hesitate to PM me or call Monash. Cheers.
