Not too hot... Used to own a LG O2x also becomes hot when playing game in long hours. The only game can really make the sgs2 hot enough is Elf City Online.. Simple game but dunno why it can raise up the sgs2 temp..hehehe 
Playing HD games no prob with the temp to me, just nice warm temp... No regret getting this phone...
