how come? because it is an original and it is not a HTC? since android is so customizable you install the language keyboard for HTC. there are guides on xda developers showing you how do it. you can look it up.

i more like watafak when saw ur comment. in past 8 versions ppl r discussing the same thing over n over again and it is proven so many times that SGSII ori is not c/w Chinese language not even the input method. but fren, flash hk rom for the chinese language or just install google pinyin or even sogou pinyin for input method if u lazy to register at swype beta la

If for calls, type this *#*#197328640#*#* in dialer. Go to audio -> voice calls -> headset -> volume -> top one. Press on the bottom most value and press menu button -> key value. Enter anything above 90 and it should be louder a bit.
