hey sorry for the interruption, may i know a few thing that you guys were talking about?

1.) what is kernel for?
2.) whats CM7?
3.) and what does firmware do? ><

sorry cuz im new to Android, hope somebody could explain to me =)

To put it in hardware terms, let say firmware (also call ROM) is your computer, Intel processor, then kernel is the motherboard. And CM7 is AMD processor. So if one day you sick of Intel, you can change/upgrade to AMD processor. When you change processor, the motherboard got to be changed as well to suit the new processor. Intel (or AMD) also got many types, for eg. Core i3, i5, i7 la..

Hope you get it. smile.gif

I got. Sometimes, but only for a brief period and selected area only around PJ. Think Maxis is testing their 4G network. hmm.gif
