You're right too. I feel my mind has become slight negative since i have this illness. I always be caution and try to avoid any situation that make the dizziness and loss of balance feel greater, like avoid taking crowded train, avoid noisy and crowded place, overdo some workouts and didn't participate any sporting event. I guess it have something to do with anxiety, but after did some research this illness is synonym with anxiety especially for new patient. So what i did to counter this is take a deep breath (there are various method) and talk to somebody (even on the phone) because when i talk to somebody i kinda forgot the dizziness and loss of balance sensation. Happen so many time, but when i'm start to think about the illness, the sensation and symptom start to coming back. I guess,  our mind can be powerful at time. That explain why world class athlete can maintain their focus even in 24 hours event.
