guys, i am using oxygen rom. do u guys facing problem when screen off, the wifi connection will automatic close? i already set the wifi slp policy to nvr but it still occur. btw, i used juice defender

Hi i try to install the Oxygen last nite but encounter some problem, can someone please help?

I did follow the instruction from Borsch Soup's methods, after i flash the ROM it seems like i got problem to download stuff at market place. I check wireless connection is working just that i can't download stuff from market it keep hanging there.

End up i have to remove the ROM again and flash with B137.

By the way what's the fastest way to restore back the original data and application after installing the new ROM cause all my previous setting gone.

haha. same to me. before this thinking to grab galaxy ace. and i was like to buy the galaxy ace in the next day. but that night got someone recommend me x5. thinking couple hours, in the next day i cancel galaxy ace, then bought x5. hehe.. 

i will only change to oxy if they have tether function. Now still using b137 v7

to do step 3, you must do step 1 and 2.

just follow slowly at front page. or visit modaco-x5.

firstly, you need to root your device to access CWM [clockwork recovery]. why we need it? to access the root of our device. and volume up + power on is to run CWM, to flash rom, wipe data, etc. spend your time to reading and understand  it. it worth your time.

im using the ori roms...nvr rooted XD actually still ok la..wont drain alot...but when online plus download it drain quite alot like 100% till 80 or 70.. in 2 hours time lor. i also disabled data connect as well..XD

why not try CM7, I using it, mainly to surf net, mms not sure can or not, the browser can open unlimited windows 

try root then flash oc kernel to underclock might help battery life

sometimes will show 3g icon but cannot connect to net, must reboot only can. Oherwise is perfect, been using for few days liao   really like the browser can invert color like win vista, also the browser can open unlimited windows

laggy if use with Adw launcher,so I switch to Go Launcher, really niceRom, but ofcos still beta lai, so must have bugs.

Interested in hardcase but no $$$ temporary still using my HP pouch

If using Cm7 better use Go Launcher, no lag very smooth, if Adw very laggy using browser scroll up/down also lag
what you mean by save words? It has Chinese handwriting, latin and pin yin

get x5 beter. i believe 2.3 will release one day. 2.2 is not tat bad, there are alot  new phone out there using 2.2. x5, graphic pwned ace. trust me u wont regret, no bias. but honestly i hate x5 no camera button, =(. go compare their spec, u will find out x5 giving better spec with this price. =)

for me...branded not necessarily lar...same price btwn these 2 phone..i rather choose the smooth one instead of juz a brand. even it's a famous brand but the device not comfort to use...will feel like pay money for trouble XD x5 is very smooth compare to other branded device.

ace also dont have snapshot button...haha! the graphic and resolution is really awesome..nice and clear! the touch screen sensitivity is great, better than ace. i test ace b4...abit...speechless XD oh ya, the iron man2 and some games..and documents to go this app i want to uinstall but cant...how to uninstall it? bcoz it come with device one...anyway to delete it?

we look at more on performance instead of brand XD it's really an awesome phone.
