Put your tones in your SDcard in the following respective folders then you can see them when you change ringtone/alarm/notifications:

media/audio/notifications
media/audio/ringtones
media/audio/alarms

Maybe can consider SE X10? Camera can rival Arc, just got Gingerbread, laggy UI but flies with custom ROM.

Actually RM799 is a very good deal for X5. I found out from a Huawei employee that their staff price is RM790 + free microSD (can't remember 2GB or 4GB).

Sell my Galaxy Ace to get this.. Why i didnt take this phone in the first place.. =.=

Easy to flash ROM make me wanna cry ler comparing to my Ace.. Risk of bricking also very minimal..
*
I also sold off my Ace (SOD is unacceptable) and planned to get this. But ended up with a 2nd-hand Galaxy SL from Garage Sales for about the same price. Still lurking here to update myself on the excellent X5, though.

lol
same to me
i also dont get what they were discussing
"touch the screen to focus "
is that mean can take photo by touching any side of the screen?
*
Normal cameras focus in the center. Some provide extra options like focus on faces (face recognition). Touch the screen to focus means touching on your subject in the screen to focus on it, then take the picture (subject can be anywhere in the screen).

lol i see
get it man
thanks for explaining
btw,
after we touch on the screen
it'll automatically focus and straight away shot?
or it'll just focus on the place
and wait until you touch on the " shot "button
only take?
*
I don't know lor, you can try and see. Samsung S variants is touch to focus then tap shot button to take.

i originally got the white version, after a few days of buying the phone, exchanged the phone with a brand new unit but black since the white unit no stock, and still got the exact same problem doh.gif

Ah, sodeskah. So the X5 has a disadvantage: deep sleep.

Only on stock rom or custom ROM based on 2.2 froyo firmware.. Got MIUI, CM7 and Oxygen without this issue..
But it still an issue for average-scared-to-flash-afraid-warranty-void kind of people..
*
In other words, normal users. But normal users wouldn't buy this phone anyway, it's almost like a niche product laugh.gif

I got used the HTC wildfire previously before switching to X5, no doubt that HTC's phone have some good quality build.
but i doubt yr statement which says that HTC's price dropped too fast.
and i don't recommend Mozart as one of my friend also complain about it.
*
HTC price doesn't drop fast... except for Mozart. Now selling about same price as X5. Original RRP was, what, almost 2k?

I'm still in testing process with this phone.. Just bought less than 2 weeks..
So far, of coz it's better than Galaxy Ace.. To say it's the best phone (spec-wise) for it range, not anymore..
CSL Mi-410 price dropped to RM800..
Im a sucker for not so mainstream phone (hippies!)..
*
Mi-410 got QC problem lah... I surveyed around, other forums reported dust under screen lah (gets worse sometimes), the stock ROM is unusable, screen moves by itself, etc. X5 much better, peace of mind. Its status will only drop maybe after another few months when Huawei Vision comes out... not sure how much that is though..

Incredibly, nobody posting X5 up in Garage Sales... either too few people use, or really a no-regret phone... keep it up, guys thumbup.gif
