hi guys. im new here. im currently looking for a laptop that suits all the criteria below:
1. below 2k
2. have graphic (for moderate gaming only to play PES and FM)
3. will not cause overheating (my g455 has now overheated and died whenever i played FM for about 5 min)

any suggestions from pros?

Your previous laptop overheats because of dust accumulating on the heat sinks and vents.. and probably because of the thermal paste being worn out..
Fix these and it won't overheat again  brows.gif

Theoretically, the Acer would be cooler because of the larger dimension brows.gif

i have already clean all the dust and put on a new layer of thermal paste. still my laptop is overheating. i went to a computer shop and the shop person said that my motherboard and/or my graphic hace problems. only 5 min turn on the laptop has already generates heat. during idle only the gpu temperature can rise up to 80 degrees. when playing games, it reaches 100+ degrees. some said that amd processors and ati graphics can easily overheated. that makes me in doubt with amd product nowadays.

Done maintenance and still overheated? that's rare  rclxub.gif
Still, the current AMD lineups have improved alot hmm.gif
thats why i'm frustrated vmad.gif. maybe my graphic isn't good enough for long time gaming.

go for acer 4750g .1.9k you get i5 and gt520m ...best deal in my opinion..llano processor is not future proof..in 2012 you will kick yourself..a6 is not a processor you wanna buy in this decade ..may be 2009
really? why is that?

btw, need some suggestion. maybe out off topic.i'm planning on selling my old laptop (lenovo g455). it's already 2 years old. and have overheating problems and cannot play games anymore. how much such i put the price tag if i wanted to sell it? and if i wanted to repair it,how much will it cost? because this laptop is still good for gaming if its not because of the overheating processor.

Actually this one is better, just bargain until RM2k hehe (assuming you don't want llano):
Acer Aspire 4755G, i5-2410M + Nvidia GT540M(2GB)@RM2199 , 3 years warranty

Otherwise, this:
Toshiba Satellite L745-1050X, i3-2310 + Nvidia GT525M@RM1999[2.14kg], 2nd & 3rd year warranty

what's wrong with the llano processor? does it have problems too?

some people said that acer sells only name. that's why many of my friends don't suggest me on taking any of their brands. acer too has a lot of problems. one of my friend only bought it for 3 month, already need to change a new monitor. does this model has a lot of negative reviews too?
