for normal use (research and data processing)
budget: maximum 2k main requirement: warranty at least 3 years (if possible onsite warranty) spec: I3 2gb ram 500GB HDD
HP G42-456 TX : RM 1649 + 299 onsite warranty= RM 1948 Satellite L745-1050X- RM 1999 (carry in warranty)
which one better between these 2? any other better deals?

i have 2 options HP G4-1007TX i3 second gen (2.1 ghz),500 gb, 2gb ram, ATI radeon HD 6470 3D with 3 years warranty = RM 1948
another option
HP G42-458 TX, i5 processor 480m (2.66ghz turbo boost), 2gb RAM, 640GB HDD, ATI Radeon HD 6370 3D, 3 years warranty = RM 1999
which one is better for data processing?

i would like to see clarification, is it true that most of the laptop nowadays will not include the recovery CD and the windows CD to customer, they will only have the option of auto recovery through the system. This was told by HP
