and that Asus battery life would be quite short..

Sandy Bridge, Intel latest processor..
Its improvement is especially in Core i7 where it now got built-in Intel HD and higher base clocks..

Inspiron 15R, with free upgrade 2 year...

Basically, with the i7 740QM on X42Jr, you are getting slower speed, less battery life.

to differentiate... easy..

example..

i5-480m.. this 3 numbers... means arrandale..not sandy bridge..... simpler words.. older generation.

i5-2410m .. this.. is new sandy bridge....

later... projected nex year first quarter... ivy bridge is coming out.. lolx....

normal use wun hav noticeable effect.^^
also if u wan cut price lagi ask for no freebies. lolx.(most of the stuff are useless anyway... can buy own one better)
