Hi, anyone been to the site recently ? Have they started foundation works yet ?

Nothing done, just empty land
Why lawyer never call me collect spa/offer letter bank/loan agreeement etc ... ?

i no scare of anything.. earthquake ka.. ekonomy turtle la, slow response la, watever .. as long as they do their foundation properly ..

U all referring to those square piles lying on the ground ? Those are for supporting the beams of the foundation ie secondary role. The most important piles are those big round ones (called spun piles), these support the main structure ie column of building. Maybe if got construction fellas here can explain more ..

It looks like building in limestone area needs experienced workers & more skills than just hammering the pile in. Anyway, with another high-rise already in progress in the same area i don't feel so worried. Last time looked around the the multi-storey low cost apartment beside & don't have any cracks ahaha..

Wah, thats a hi tech injection hydraulic piling machine ! It can sort of test the pile by using strong force to ascertain stability of piling, so better than normal hammer pile. Glad to know the developer started it right.

jcl36 very updated on site progress I pass by so went in took a peek, the monster piling machine now at blkC or D area, las time was at A.. moving slow nvm, piling mus b proper .. When doing framework will be faster & can c from MRR2 next time

For limestone, they insert a few piles before capping it, so even though spun piles are stronger, the rc piles foundation is sturdier, something like u stand on 1 spun pile leg vs standing on 4 rc pile legs .. if i'm not wrong.

1st wanna clarify i not engineer, so its open to correction.
Limestone areas got cavities/floating stones/stone valleys etc to if just taruh 1 spun pile, it might not sit correctly in the abnormalities mentioned. Thats why have to taruh a few piles to 'diversify' like diversify in financing. The strength of spun piles is higher, but when more rc piles is combined, it migh be stronger collectively like the saying breaking 1 chopstick vs a few chopsticks. Also the absolute max strength of spun pile is higher eg can take xxx tons load but mayb no need to use so high loading as only www tons is loaded on the foundation, it will be overdesigned.

I think all of us bored to death already waiting for the piling to finish haha.. talking about piling & rocks .. crazy liao But honestly i think we shouldn't worry too much cos nearby got a few high rise condos already. Surprisingly, even the low cost flat beside amara got no crack compared to condos costing much more in kl got cracks. If engineers can build hotel on the sea, i think building on soil is supsupsui for them

I worry i will want to move to amara 3 yrs from now if it is successful I guess if we want to look hard enough, can c some similarities between tz & amara, developer & project wise. Trinity showed that it is very committed to proving itself & making a name for itself despite its short history & limited experience. I hope jayaMegah possess the same drive & determination .. Amara has an appealing concept, only left the implementation to be seen .. if the finished product reflects what they market in their brochure, the battle is more than 1/2 won ...
