wah.. once start talking about spun piles .. all sort of theory comes out.
i am not an expert too. Land close to batu caves usually have lots of cavities. by using spun piles, the jack in machine (type of piling machine) can closely monitor the required tonnage is achieved before completing the job. where as RC piling dont give such accurate readings. This is important as the limestone below can crack and once crack it will require more piling until sufficient tonnage is achieved. and this foundation need to cope with the retail podium, 2000carpark, 700 units apartment, swimming pool, 23 storey.
Its a of of weight

QUOTE(HHalphaomega @ Oct 25 2012, 01:05 PM)
Two of my clients made a booking on this property recently & they're not bothered much by this news.

The way I see this issue is as follows;

1. Politically motivated - BN approved this project in Y2007 hence why is MIC raising this issues now when they should have done so in Y2007.

2. If the high structure of statue is going to be destabilized by the construction then either

a) there shouldn't be any high rises in this area (including Amara etc) or

b) the construction of the statute is not done properly (maybe that's what the temple person is worried about since it'll spell trouble to him later on)

3. Some level of interest in the land owned by this developer since the temple committee can occupy it at a cheaper cost if the project gets canceled & pressure the developer to sell it to them.

4. Modern construction methods to be used means less intrusion impact to tall structures eg. since KLCC has seen so many high rises being built around it despite being the icon of Malaysia in the recent years.

Of course investments such as this one comes with risks so it boils down to what's your risk appetite & strategy.

Cheers,

HH

1.So i see that you are vested in this project.
2.By now we should know that BN dont talk what it perch. They will feed different ethnic groups with different issue.
3.This project is super near to Batu caves and it squeeze so many units into such a small place. amara is atleast 1km away and opposite the KTM
4.Most likely the temple committee trying to get hold of the land, they have force dolomite to stop quarrying there previously.
5.when the issue is politically motivated, we dont talk about modern construction method. atleast in malaysia mad.gif
