Hey guys, i'm planning to get a Xbox 360 either modified or none modify....

the reason i'm buying that is for HALO franchise multiplayer and is not coming out PC........ and i'm wanted to play their multiplayer mode. and i only buy certain Xbox games, like HALO, Gears of War, Ninja Gaiden, which those exclusive on xbox 360 only.


but my question even i have the original xbox 360, will i be able to play online from malaysia?

My bullet point response:

- Any response you get from this forum is likely to be from a Malaysian Xbox user.

- Many users here subscribe to xboxlive gold which allows us to participate in online multiplayer.

- Going online with a modded console may result in your 360 getting bricked therefore a lot of us here have unmodded consoles.

Definitely suggest you go only with unmodded and support original games only. Prices for consoles and games now are pretty good. Not worth the headache with modded stuff if you go on Xbox Live - and yes once you go online they will immediately ban your console and account.

Added on July 22, 2011, 1:33 pmif u wanna buy modded consoles first and play after quite sometimes till u boring because of playing alone offline, then if u wanna start to play online with players all arround the world,just update your console to the latest version then u can start to play online without getting banned or caught,but ones u update your console then u can't play pirates cheap cd anymore,u have to start to buy ori cd....its free to update your consoles...u can do it yourself by update it,u have to dwload the new version from pc or lbtop using pendrive then after that just slot it back to your xbox to update by itself then u can start playing online...make sure to update your dashboard to this 2.0.13599.0 simple and easy,after u update it,then it can't read your ciplak cd's anymore,it will say the ciplak cd's become dvd,but if u pun an ori cd's,it can read it...so any moddded xbox consoles can be un modded...whats important is its free and tak pening kepala...

yr advise is not 100% accurate, if you have a spoof drive then you will have an expansive dvd player

before i played ciplak games for few months,then wanna play online,so i did all this steps to my console and now I'm on xbox live playing online,i also told one of my friend to un modded his console like me,he did and his playing xbox live...the reason xbox doing update cause many ciplak cd's are selling in the market,so they put in anti piracy for each time u update your dashboard,example if u wanna play operation flash point or assasin creed brother hood,u need to update your modded console so u can play it,but if u mistakently update your modded to dashboard 2.0.12625.0,then u can't play black ops and other few games already,need to be carefull before update,so for modded nowdays its hard for them to play new games,i give u this link shows that the latest update is on july 2011 which i told earlier so it will become un modded,have a look.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_360_system_software
