haven't been checking out this thread (previous version) due to heavy workload.. must've missed alot of useful information..

wondering what's the sudden 'burst' in the release of ZGMF-X10A Freedom in Metal Composite AND Real Grade.
however this shd be a good thing as one of my fren who isn't a gunpla-yer also wanted to get apiece of this RG Freedom.

pray Bandai will eventually release PG Freedom. if it's a good one it'll be my 1st PG kit.. (unlikely, though.. )

at least the so-called "sour-grape" have reasons to criticize the models.
and criticizing is subjective. it can be constructive if u look at it from another angle.
after all it's still your choice if u like that kit, if u still want to buy it despite its (discussed) flaws, then by all means.. go for it.
(i have one kit i wanted, been discussed in past few threads of it's flaw, that hindered me abit from getting it. but if i have time for it i'll still get the kit and try experience building it myself, coz i liked the kit. where's the killing of interest?)

not gonna impose some stupid ruling that all opinion be marked with "sorry if might be too harsh here, it's just my 2cents", are we? chill abit, dude.

and IMHO, repeated posts are really kinda annoying (even more those not related to gunpla), it'll be helpful if u just post the completed kit here, review it if u want, don't posts WIPs as those are repetetive in a way. for me it doesn't really matter if it comes to the skills, as we're reviewing the kits itself.

methinks it's HG's boxart looks cool coz Bandai apply standard template of style to each line of HG, as for MG it's just one big picture with definitive font (heck even the fonts are different for MGs for series like 00 & Wing).. another point is that MGs box size varies with kit content (no visible MG# too), hence make it less of a "collect 'em all" feel to it. and oh, that fine mecha artist Naochika is mostly hired to do boxart for HGs too... so there u have it..

that said, i think the 007G MG boxart looks cool. not gonna get it though, not a fan of bulky armament/hard to pose kits..

wow, see that holographic MG logo on that turn-A box? that's the 1st release edition!!(comes with extra turn-A booklet.)
might be an extra 50 bucks, but worth it if u ask me..

it's uses new molding called gloss-injection. (i dunno whether it's cheaper to produce or not)
for me, it adds texture & gloss to the kits which is nice.
and well, at least u won't need to touch up all that much to have a cool looking model.

that's the MG Unicorn shield isit? the back of the shield isn't as detailed as it should be..
