So I tried asking HLJ to get spare parts for me but after a few weeks, they said won't be possible, their spare parts dept is indefinitely unavailable..

Anyone know of any proxies there that can help with spare parts? I tried a couple, no luck so far..

I experienced buying spare part b4, but the process might be diff but below is for your reference only:
Anyway this is what I did, you might want to ask around if there're any more straight forward/ simple solution.

cheers.gif
Sounds like a real good option..so vPost sent the package from Japan to your friend's house here? And your communication with Bandai was in English from start to end? How long did it take for them to respond to you?

Thanx for your idea, this could really help us a lot here who can have occasional butterfingers sweat.gif sweat.gif

GGInfinite a.k.a. gundam guy ships from the US, so might not exactly be cost efficient. Might be cheaper to befriend gaijin online and eventually see if he's willing to tumpang. most of them hang around gundam australia forum and are very helpful.
*
Yea true I found out from their website, California. Will look at Vorador's options and see how that one goes. sweat.gif

EDIT: Vorador, the vPost website registration is only for Singaporeans? Tried registering, couldn't create an account sad.gif

Speaking about Metal Builds, those don't require any assembly right? Saw the cost of one 00 7 Sword at BTS, was around RM200++ RM400 iirc..was thinking, wtf so expensive..it's just a metal version of the upcoming MG, just heavier due to all metal and fully decal-ed?

EDIT: price updated to prevent further shock doh.gif

seriously for RM200?? shocking.gif
that too cheap

anyway i noticed a bit similarity between Epyon and DeathScythe Hell artbox sweat.gif

If this kind of price, for sure I WILL BUY ONE!!! biggrin.gif Cannot be that low la the price. Its around 400++ la.
*
I may be mistaken, that was couple weeks ago, didn't bother looking at it again sweat.gif

Since you two are surprised, then I'd think memory failed me here doh.gif

But other than my memory failing me, what're the pros of the Metal Build over the normal MG editions?

In conclusion, just wait for MG 7 Sword la. For me, buying Metal Build is not worthy. Better buy PG for that price. MORE SYIOK!! icon_rolleyes.gif
*but that one is my opinion la. laugh.gif
*
With you on this. icon_rolleyes.gif

I won't say Metal Build is not worthy, but a PG would be worth more than the Metal Build; PG has the details, gimmicks, proportions, and BIGGER. More to admire flex.gif

My opinion too. sweat.gif cool.gif

hmm, went thru some reviews on MG 00 Qan[t]. not very good wor. apparently parts of the shield will fall off if u try to adjust too much :T

anyone of you have this kit? is it worth it?

need to think properly since i'm also buying Blue Frame MG. :T
*
Once you've assembled the GN Shield and bits, it's difficult to detach the bits..if you try, most likely you'll break their connectors (I did. This issue I posted in the last thread iirc, nazrul also had the same problem iinm).

It's worth it to pose in one form only..or unless you maybe modify the connectors..think sanding them a bit may make the connectors not too tight thus preventing you from breaking them.

hmmm, maybe i should not jump into buying this first. might be better if i save up for 00 7sword even though this is cheaper :T

thanks guys for the feedback and opinions smile.gif
*
If you like swords, then I'd say wait for 00 7 Sword. The HG is awesome, MG would really make you drool.gif drool.gif

Otherwise, this one is pretty cool in it's own right too. I'd still buy this as it does look cool brows.gif

Don't think the other 3 Meisters will get MG treatments soon..maybe never will sad.gif

That's why I just get the 1/144 ones, hanging onto what very little hope I have that some day, Bandai will announce MG versions of all 6 kits; Virtue, Kyrios, Dynames, Seravee, Arios and Cherudim sweat.gif sweat.gif

i hate hand and leg part the most, normally the leg will have more mechanism than the hang, thus it give more headache

but assemble the wrong part and have to dissemble it is the real pain, pain in the finger shakehead.gif

i wonder how that guy spray the SF until got such nice reflection, and there is LED inside the head? hmm.gif
*
Yes there's LED cos it's the PG SF, comes with one LED for the head.

suddenly i have this feeling when Bandai decided to make all two versions (ver.Ka & EW) of each 5 main MG MSs from Gundam Wing...
i sense tat in the near future bandai will actually make all versions (seaons 1 & 2, & movie ver.) of all main gundam units from OO series, given tat Exia, OO Raiser & OO Quanta already release  laugh.gif

*btw ur siggy is kinda mmm tempting mmm*
*
I hope so too. I've grown to like Kyrios and Cherudim. The OVA MS I will skip..maybe Harute I'll consider but Raphael and Zabanya.. doh.gif doh.gif

Look forward to more Heavyarms pics drool.gif

the OVA, i only like 00 qan[t] and Harute :|

i was looking for 1/100 for Harute...but i think quite hard to find. and i doubt Bandai will release the MG version.
also made a change in my wishlist. removed AEUG 2.0 even though looks nice. i better collect SEED, 00 and Unicorn series for now =_=
*
Only 00 qan[t] has the MG version. All other OVA MS are in 1/144 scale. There're no 1/100 kits for these, yet.

that 1 hard to say. but MG IJ is already a very good kit whereas MG Destiny is not. MG Destiny EBM improved a lot if compared to the standard version (again, based on the review done by gunpla-inochi).

seriously, i cannot imagine how MG IJ is gonna go that version tongue.gif
*
I don't think there are much improvements between the EBM Destiny and regular one. Main differences that I can remember:

1) Wing effect
2) Few parts are metallic coated

That's about it. It's same with SF FBM and normal mode, main differences are that FBM gets an extra blue transparent action base, some golden parts and the effect pieces for the dragoons.

Currently doing the regular Destiny now. I've had the EBM one for a couple years now and also have both FBM and regular SF for few years already.

wrong, extra sets of hands, ALOT
extra beam effects parts for posing Destiny throwing out beam boomerangs n shooting beam frm its palm
n extra 2 large(1/12 i guess) clear figures of Shin Asuka n Kira Yamato(?), kinda useless though

+its not jz few parts, but all visible joints n inner frame r moulded in dark metallic silver/grey
*
Ah right I forgot about those parts. Yeah the EBM Destiny has more options than the FBM SF. Probably better justification for the extra RM100 more or less.

long time nv check this thread. haha. bought MG Destiny EBM from a forumer for rm210 (my most expensive kit yet).

so far i like the kit. it's quite different i feel from other MG i've assembled like SF and Aile Strike. maybe coz of the color scheme - darker n more grey than white.

but i feel the shoulder and torso part, somehow harder to assemble than aile strike :T
*
Destiny's shoulder design is more dynamic than Strike, allowing better posing. Prepare large space if you're gonna pose it with the wing effects. Although requires large space, but it is pretty to look at thumbup.gif
