actually was looking at MG RX 178 AEUG Ver 2.0.... but that 1 cost RM 150 and only 1 box left in GA (GT don have). :'( for 150...maybe it's better to get zaku white wolf sad.gif
but i hope without weather effect, it will look ok also la.

else, maybe will get Char's Zaku for a start? the red seems weird though. tongue.gif the red on the other zaku variation seems nicer (same price with white wolf)
*
Johnny Ridden's bright red is nice if u dont like char's pinkish red...its up to your preference...i like zaku's thrusters so the choice is between those three plus black tristars's

yeah, resin kit looks better, but more exp, more difficult to build, and also needs coloring. i'd stick with injection kit, thanks

yes, I use Zippo fluid. It's cheap and really does everything for me; thins enamel paints, helps me remove excess panel lines, removes excess glue marks (like if I choose to remove some stickers there'll be some glue marks leftover). Pretty happy with it...been using two cans for almost a year dy.

i already own a sinanju HGUC though
btw i prefer the sazabi over the sinanju if i were to choose between them in MG tongue.gif

Only if there's an MG ver2.0 for the Sazabi. The ver1.0 is too expensive and overall poor in terms of articulation and detail given its age.

QUOTE(amduser @ Jul 22 2011, 07:39 AM)
any thing i need to pay attention to while building MKII? any fragile part?
this is my first time building a dark color kit tongue.gif
*
Things to watch out for with the MKII:
1. The sliding mechanism for the shield can be quite tricky to get it right. Don't use brute force, but rather align it properly first before you push the pieces in.

2. Beware of the vulcan pod's antenna. It is pretty thin and fragile. Same with the V-fin but this is the case with any other gundams.

3. The curved part of the backpack boosters are difficult to apply the warning decals. Air gets trapped easily there. Furthermore the dark pieces will overwhelm the lightly coloured decals.

4. The hand pegs for the weapons are quite short hence they will wear out very quickly if you change accessories very often.

5. For the Titans version, have some red paint ready for minor detailing e.g. grooves on the feet and interior surface of thrusters.

6. The two cameras on top of the chest do not have bundled stickers. Make good use of the shiny sticker sheet ! You should have enough leftover edges from the 3 green sensor stickers for you to cut out.

HGUC 1/144 Jesta (Release Date: Sept 2011, Price: TBA)

http://gundamguy.blogspot.com/2011/07/band...ing-gunpla.html

I love you Bandai.

Some hopes for the Jesta:
1. Include the shield please.
2. Keep the carbine at its current size, don't shrink it.
3. Movable visor, instead of part swapping like the Ecoas Jegan.
4. Shoulders and swivel far enough to hold the carbine up close to the face like a SWAT team.
5. Cheap !! Keep it under 1800 yen please, in fact make it 1600 tongue.gif

Things yet to be confirmed from the linearts:
1. What is on the right forearm ? The beam sabre is located on the left like Nu, and the stats say it only has one so we don't know whether there's anything attached on the right side.

2. Similarly, what's on the right skirt? Again, stats say 3 grenades only. I think it might be ammo clips like its predecessor, the Jegan.

The scratchbuilt Jestas that we can see in modelling magazines all have symmetrical equipment on left and right sides. I sure hope this is not the case for the HGUC.

Oh well, the shield's shape does look a bit weird and the skirt armour are symmetrical. But I can live with that.
