In Malaysia,

Assume
#1 = Gas
#2 = Induction
#3 = Radiant

Running cost (in order)
#1, Gas is still cheaper, because is subsidized by government.
#2, Induction is good, because the transfer of heat are very efficient
#3, Radiant, transfer of heat are slow.

Usability
#1, can use most of the cooking pots, woks, pans, clay
#2, you can only use anything with steel, Iron and flat surface.
- But the market is getting more of pots and pans support induction. Even some claypot can support induction.
#3, Can use most of the pots, pans, clay as long is flat surface.

Efficient
#1, not so efficient
#2, is the best, boiling water is so much faster compare to gas or radiant.
#3, slow heat up. If your cooking time is short like fry egg, it waste lots of energy. Take time to heat up.

I personally still prefer gas, and 2nd choice is induction.

Thanks all for replying. I also prefer induction cooker, But my major concern in induction is the radiation of the product. As I saw the radiation picture provide by 1 of the former who sell vees cooker, it show tat induction has high radiation, then it may affect our health in the long run..any one can clarify ?

Btw, do all this cooker having SIRIM certified?

Another bullshit from unethic people. If that is the case, US, Europe ban this usage for many donkey years already. The induction emit radiation but is EMR that is how it heat the iron. Is even worse to use h/p compare to this emr. Well unless you are talking about few thousand time strength that can charge to suck the car.

First time I'm hearing even knob placement has got feng shui implications.

So what is the difference between side placement or front placement?

Too complicated to explain here. So i leave this as it is.
