We never heard of CEVO before but if its almost the same then we are moving into the right direction then ^^

But just curious which part did we copy from CEVO and other online leagues? Can you be more specific?

We are not running any online leagues btw. All our tournaments will be held at a physical location complete with live streaming equipments & big stage for matches. ^^

Each season has 4 qualifiers. You only need to join one of the qualifier to qualify to the grand final at the end of the month. 16 players out of 32 players from each qualifier will qualify to the grand final.

If you qualify from one of the qualifier you do not have to join the other qualifier already. Very easy one ^^

LOL for qualifiers everyone get goodie bags & sponsors merchandise. Only the top 16 from each qualifier will qualify for grand final. However, no prizes for top 16 qualifiers since you guys already get into Grand Final.

And its quite costly to reward all top 16 again so yea please understand this lol ^^

Its entirely LAN. It will be held at Cyberjaya. You dont have to worry about the transportation issue. We are providing FREE BUS from KL Sentral straight to Cyberjaya so you dont have to drive. We will pick you up and sent you back.

Round robin means you play everyone in the group except yourself of course biggrin.gif

So in our qualifier, each player will play every player in the group ONCE. Hopefully we've explained it clearly ^^

If you have any question please feel free to ask ^^

We have received a lot of feedback from gamers that ask us to postpone SPGEL Season 1 to allow gamers more time to prepare for our league and to respect the holy month of Ramadhan for our muslim gamers. We value our gamers feedback and taken account into all consideration, we have decided to postpone SPGEL Season 1 to 01/10/2011.

For those who have already registered and make the payment, no worries as you do not have to re-register/re-pay again. However, should you request for refund, we will be happy to refund your registration fee as well. Just email us your bank account and we will bank in to you in no time ^^

Again we thank you for all of your feedbacks. We are always here listening to you. Thank you again for your continuous support for Spotgamers.

Hmm I'm quite surprise to see CSS win votes over CS1.6 SpotGamers Voting poll (even though votes number seems very little to me). According to my view, CS1.6 got much better demand than CSS in Malaysia. Anyway it is good to see CSS event once in the while though, just hope there will be enough participant to join it smile.gif

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! WE GOT SPONSORS! REGISTRATION FEE IS NOW 40% LESS!

Today marks another achievements as Spotgamers manage to find sponsors to sponsor Spotgamers e-Sports League. We thought it could not be done but thankfully with the hardwork of our team and all the support from you, our members and gamers alike, we manage to secure sponsors!

So what will be the significant improvements for Spotgamers e-Sports League? 1st of all, ALL REGISTRATION FEE WILL RECEIVE UP TO 40% DISCOUNT! That means registration fee for individual games(FIFA & SC2) will only be RM30(previously RM50) and registration fee for team games(CS:S & DOTA) is RM150(previously RM200). We believe this new registration fee will help reduce the burden for gamers to join our league. For those who have made the payment, no worries as we have something SPECIAL for you ^^

2nd significant improvements that we would like to share with you is instead of 4 qualifiers, we will combine all 4 into 1! That means you do not have to come to Cyberjaya every week. Gamers only need to join 1 qualifier to get into the grand final. But will it be harder to qualify to grand final? Dont sweat! The same rules still applies. From the maximum number of 128 players, the top 64 players will qualify to the grand final. So all you have to do is get past that 1st round and thats it! You are in the grand final!

The 3rd significant improvements is SPGEL qualifier will be move to 26th-27th November 2011(previously in October) and grand final will be on 17th-18th December 2011 due to sponsors request. This dates will be better for students since its school holidays therefore increasing the amount of gamers joining our league. Do take note that all 4 qualifiers in October is now combine into 1 qualifier on 26th-27th November 2011.

We believe that this latest updates are great news to the gaming community. Spotgamers always strive to improve and we have definitely delivered our promises to give gamers the best opportunity to be a pro-gamer in Malaysia. We go the extra miles to make e-Sports a reality in Malaysia. But we could not done this without your support. Thank you again to all our members and everyone who has been supportive to us!

The last & only thing we would like to ask from gamers is to get more gamers to join Spotgamers! The more members we have, the easier it is for us to convince sponsors to support our noble cause for e-Sports! So get all your gaming friends to join Spotgamers today!

Lets make e-Sports a reality! Majulah e-Sukan untuk negara!
